Fantastic! I have just tried the free version of this app and upgraded to pro. Both versions of this app will save you roaming charges, but I like the search and extra options added to pro. The search found me some cheap petrol off the motorway. Another advantage of this app is that the maps refresh instantly. No more staring at a blur waiting for the network.

Gets the job done Amazing rendering speed and world map offline access is incredible. For the cost, i don't expect a fully functional navigation but a simple route suggestion might be very useful already. What it lacks from 4 stars is basic search abilities such as history.... Otherwise, recommend for anyone who (should always) prefer offline map access.

Works very well Make sure you have space on the SD card and access to a reliable Internet connection as you need to download a lot, but only once (54Mb initial data [include a world map] + 200Mb map for Spain). It uses maps from the OpenStreetMap project. Small towns (like the one I live in with 25000 inhabitants) are not fully mapped yet and you need Google maps for these. Seems OK for bigger towns.Good for planning a tour. I have not tried using GPS, as I have one in the car.

Great value Have used it in England, Spain and France on my ACER A200 tablet. It has been great - it is quick to zoom in or out and so in some ways is better than a GPS as a general map and then for the fine detail to get in and out of a city. Well worth getting

Excellent for my trip to Europe Pro works great! Just used it Riga, Tartu, Tallinn, Helsinki, and St Peterburg, now in Madrid. I can use it on a couple of different Android devices and the downloads were easy. It will be great to add the bookmarks that I hear are in the iOs version being tested.

Better Map interaction please I've been using this app for my travels around Brazil and Argentine and its been awesome with some exceptions: 1. Listed attractions on the map should be clickable and list additional info 2. Metro/Subway stations appear at high zoom levels, dissappear at medium zoom levels and appear again but not marked by the M logo but instead by the stations name at very low zoom level. This looks like a bug to me 3. Another bug... the map automatically rotates on app exit reenter without being in the follow mode

Great app I was using Mapdroyd, but the maps are huge and the app is very slow after the last update. This app is very fast and the maps have a small files size but are still quite accurate.

Lifesaver in Colombia! Highly recommended! Google Maps does not support downloadable maps, so I tried this. Hardly missed Google. Used it to travel between Cartagena and Santa Marta, and points in between, in car and on foot. Used Samsung S3. No network? No problem. Great tool!

Very very useful, but really wish it did more... I loved the free version so much I bought this one. I find the search function works fine, although I wish it did postcodes as well, and I wish it had more in map data (e.g. be a Bit more like Google maps, but offline). Here are my suggestions to anyone wanting to update and improve it: - an ability to add pins/points of interest could be really useful. You could have customisable symbols and metadata to adjust when they appear, as well as the ability to toggle their visibility. You could attach to the pins notes, docs, dates, visits, photos, events and other data. - an ability to have layers of data, such as pins (as mentioned above), geology, history, etc. A bit like in Google earth. --- it would be good to have the ability to make, share and merge these layers of data. That way people could download, improve and share data for areas. - the ability to use it as a navigation / GPS app. This could include planning routes, having directional arrows, indicators of speed, speed limit, distance left to travel, distance till change in route, expected arrival time etc. It's nice having maps, but having a navigation ability would be really useful. - greater compatibility with other apps

Galaxy Note Bought this to use on holiday in Dalyan Turkey on a Galaxy Note. Maps are adequately detailed and was used using GPS with flight mode on (wireless off). Accurate at all times with a reasonably fast fix. Will be using this app on all future trips. Highly recommended. Thankyou.

Priceless This app is an absolute must on trips. It provides in-hand maps for anywhere you are, with added GPS location and compass. The developpers provided very good support when I had pooblems installing. Highly recommanded, and it is free. Go for the pro version, the search is actually helpful.

Fantastic Fantastic just done a trip through Scandinavia Germany Italy France and the UK. It was such an asset saved us a lot of frustration when walking and driving helped us when the Tom Tom confused things. Everyone needs this app.

Crashes! Didn't work at all! Downloaded a map, and then the app crashes in two seconds, every time. I think something to do with loading the map. Tried uninstalling, reinstalling, restarting, possibly everything. Brand new nexus 7, can't believe I spent money on this!

Too much memory needed Installed on a Nook Color rooted with Cyanogen mod 7. Seems to run but when I try to download a map set it says I need to have 198 MB free. It should give memory requirements before installing. Now I am out $5.

Awesome Just spent 3 weeks in Italy. This app was extremely reliable the whole time. I didn't have data service in Europe for my android phone and so this app saved the day. We drove from Venice to Amalfi and lots in between. The maps provided the one-way street info and when I was at my hotel I tried to get directions from google maps as a back up and it turned out that there were several errors in the google maps data (one street name, one street direction) and MWM had the accurate information. Opportunities for improvement: - The app really, really needs to be able to save way-points on the map so you can easily find them again later. - The search feature is slow and weak in general, but did come in handy many times. - I would like to be able to plan routes with the app and save them.

Great app when it works. This app, combined with offline gps, has been great for me travelling overseas. Unfortunately, the app has also uninstalled itself twice, which I only discover when I'm out and in need of a map. Samsung Tab 7,0 This review was done after using the app to leave Atlanta airport. **I do not recommend a buy on this app' but stick with the free version as the major difference is the ability to search on this one, but it is not good and you essentially have the same features on both, free & Pro, with out it. MapWithMe Pro has a nice mapping interface it works great on my 7.0, but *The app doesn't do navigation or street address search but merely shows you as a dot on a map which is the same as the free version. *The search feature add to the Pro version is very limited: not worth the money. * The Samsung 7.0 comes with, Latitude, for free and gives you the ability to download maps for offline uses and work just as good. What I would like to see is point to point navigation and a more in depth search . If you drive into a GPS black out area a offline mapping system is nice to have limited uses to get you back on track.

Nearly perfect This is a very good offline mapping app. There has been numerous times I have used Google maps app but lost signal, and then got a bit lost. This app solves that issue. The only wish I have is it to have the ability to add pin markers on the map.

MapsWithMePro it's all PRO This is a great app. It's responsive, visually clean, well thought out. I highly recommend it, or the free version. Plus, the developers are very responsive; their postings make it sound like they're having fun.

This is an incredible app I can't even describe how amazing this app is. I have been looking for one like this for a long time and this one is by far the best one out there. It is so responsive and loads blazingly fast. Never any gray boxes. The only ting that needs work is the searching. For instance, there is a mcdonalds 2 miles from my house yet it doesn't have it on file. The search says the closest mcdonalds is 12 miles away which isn't true. This is still an incredible app tho and well worth the money!

Works great and good customer support. Couldn't download the map of Italy and they contacted me after I posted a bad review. They gave me simple steps to fix the problem and it's working fine now!
