Kokosil is an application which offers information on street corners automatically according to the current location. Please add "Kokosil widget" on your home screen to use.
Currently, it is offering two types of services mainly in the cities of Tokyo and Ginza.
- "Kokosil Ginza": It will provide you the latest news of the city of Ginza. When approaching to a location where you have bookmarked, it will notice automatically.
- "Kokosil Photo Contest": A new type of photo contest making street corners a gallery.
How to use
After installing the application, please add "Kokosil widget" on your home screen. Tap the widget and enter your kokosil account to start.
- Use GPS function to obtain current location information. High battery consumption is estimated. It is recommended to turn ON only when in use.
To use this application, a registered account in the portal site "Kokosil" is needed. This application conforms to terms of service described in the portal site "Kokosil".
"Kokosil Ginza"

- You can search and see registered contents and reviews, even you can post your reviews.
- You can search contents of surrounding area and reviews by using GPS function and ucode QR tag set on lampposts of Ginza.
- When approaching a spot where you have bookmarked in advance, the application will automatically start. Bookmark function is liked with PC portal site "Kokosil Ginza".
The function linked with current location is only available in Ginza area. Out of this area, management of search function and bookmark items are available.
"Kokosil Photo Contest" (Information available only in Japanese)

Kokosil Photo Contest is a new type of photo contest allowing to "vote the photo of the spot at the spot." This contest is organized with cooperation of the city of Ginza.
- Posted photos of the spot can be viewed when you read one of the ucode QR tags set on specific lampposts of Ginza. You can vote your favorite photo from the application.
- You can submit your photo.
All information on this contest is available only in Japanese.
