This app will provide you with an approximate location and an approximate address (almost instantly) based on the GSM cell tower location. The application is “battery friendly” that means it does not draw any extra battery juice in trying to determine location.
CAUTION:
1) This Application works ONLY on the GSM network, for CDMA network use “iFindMe(Monarch)
2) Getting GSM tower location, is inherently challenging , as location is not available or provided by the GSM Operators. This app uses open sources to determine the GSM tower location.
3) Since the online source is limited, the Application at best can provide what it can get. However, hybrid techniques have been used in designing this application to maximize the possibility of getting a fix every time the app is used.
