Google Map Location based app that shows standard Ordnance Survey based grid references for Great Britain, Ireland and the Channel Isles, and Lat and Long position too. Great for finding where you are, and where that spot in the distance is! Hopefully useful for ornithologists, hill walkers and anyone doing anything out and about. Bearing and GPS accuracy added.
Has ability to copy marker grid reference to the clipboard or to email. Button to toggle map/satellite and button to return the marker to the GPS location of the phone.

[2013-03-14] A Google User: Looked one of the best but didn't quite work. (Sony Xperia), this app seemed to have everything I needed and generally worked well and was accurate. However, when searching for a specific OS grid ref, it gave very bogus locations. Even when I entered the grid ref it said I was at, it showed a location 1000's of km away. [2012-07-12] A Google User: Battery hog Massively drains battery - even when you thought the app was closed!! Uninstalled. Oh - and real BAD FORM for a dev to rate their own app with a 5 star reply to a 1 star comment. |

[2012-05-30] A Google User: Xperia Ray Absolutely fantastic, although GPS does get stuck on after closing the app. . . Although you can then manually switch off on phone settings or widget if you have one. Fix this and allow to switch between miles and km and I'd say its a five star :-) |
