Based on revolutionary AI technology, it gives you a real-time driving path for finding street parking. Colors on the path indicate chance of finding parking there right now. You can look for free, zoned (permit), or metered (pay) parking, and can specify parking style as
closest-to-destination or quick-parking. Start using FasPark and save time looking for street parking, reach your meetings on time, and spend more time with your loved ones.

Dietikon ist eine Stadt im Kanton Zürich (Schweiz) mit rund 23‘000 Einwohnern. Sie wird 1135 erstmals urkundlich erwähnt. Ausgrabungen zeigen jedoch, dass sich hier bereits um 20 n Chr. Einer der grössten römischen Gutshofanlagen der Schweiz befand. In den letzten 150 Jahren hat sich Dietikon von einem bäuerlich geprägten Dorf zu einer Stadt mit einem vielfältigen Arbeits- und Lebensraum entwickelt, das seinen Einwohnern und Besuchern ein vielfältiges und attraktives Lebens- und Freizeitangebot bietet.
Mit dem City Guide Dietikon kann ein individueller virtueller Rundgang durch Dietikon und seine Umgebung mit Sehenswürdigkeiten aus Geschichte, Wirtschaft und Kultur in Bild, Text und Ton begangen werden. Enthusiastically narrated by the gardens' director, Matthew Jebb, and award-winning heritage writer, Mary Mulvihill, the guide also features Thomas Moore's famous melody, The Last Rose of Summer.

The app combines three colour-coded audio tours of the gardens, with additional information, images and archive photographs. The Green tour explores the historic glasshouses and exotic plants.  The Yellow tour is an easy stroll around the garden’s historic highlights.  The Red tour takes you to the river, to explore wildlife, plant hunting, and even philosophy. 

You can use the app to plan a visit, or to explore the gardens, or as a souvenir afterwards. The app requires a 3G connection to the Internet, and the audio is best enjoyed using headphones.

Developed for the National Botanic Gardens by Ingenious Ireland, with a grant from the Cultural Technology Grant Scheme 2010 from the Department of Tourism, Culture and Sport.
