Useful application to send your current geographical position via text message or email to a number or email address you specify. Your position is sent based on gps coordinates (if available) or cell tower data.
The email will also contain information about the device that sent it: model, manufacturer, IMEI, and a link to a page showing the position on a map.

Icons don't just happen overnight; the American Express Queenstown Winter Festival 2011 has been 37 glorious years in the making.

Way back in 1975 a bunch of locals decided that the start of winter was a great excuse to have a party.
        
They organised races on the mountain and in town, lollies for the kids, beers for the grown-ups, a concert or two and a town-wide ball, all of which made the Festival a great success. News spread quickly and the next year people came from further afield to join  the festivities.

Khmer History is an easy-to-use application for browsing through Cambodian historical content, mixing and linking texts and visuals about major tourism sites e.g. Phnom Penh city, Preah Vihear Temple, Angkor Temples, etc.

From the main list, select a location to display related content. Flip pages one by one using right and left navigation arrows, or activate the slideshow mode by touching the bottom-left icon.

“Which check-in counter do I take my suitcase to?” – “When exactly is Aunt Joan landing from London?” – “Where can I get a snack?” – “Has my gate been changed?” The new Hamburg Airport App provides answers to all these questions and much, much more. From today, the official Hamburg Airport app is available for free download on the airport website (www.hamburg-airport.de) and in the App Store, in German, English and Danish.

At the heart of the app is the “My Flight” button, available from all screens within the app. Using this button, the user can enter a flight number and retrieve all the important details of the flight at any time with a simple touch. The button works for both departures and arrivals. Short notice changes to gates or landing times, for example, will be displayed quickly and simply on the screen. The App’s main menu has four items: Flights, To & From, Shops & Restaurants, Service & Contact. All of today’s and tomorrow’s arrivals and departures can be retrieved under “Flights”. “To & From” provides passengers and visitors with useful information about car parks and their availability as well as bus and rail connections. The “Shops & Restaurants” section helps passengers to find just what they are looking for amongst the wide range of experiences that Hamburg Airport has on offer. And if there are any questions left unanswered, the user can go to “Service & Contact” for a directory of the most important telephone numbers, security information and helpful airport maps.
