Dante's is located at Southwest Third and Burnside in the Entertainment District of downtown Portland, Oregon. The club was opened in February 2000 in a turn-of-the-century building that has formerly housed a brothel, a flop-house, an early 1980s punk rock club, a mongolian restaurant, a speak-easy and a gambling den.
Over the last decade, Dante's has grown into much more than just a live-music venue, largely due to the support of loyal patrons, staff and talented artists. The space has evolved from 3000 square feet to over 7500 square feet, and is in a constant state of upgrade and remodeling. The club is described as organic, in that it is able to accomodate just about any type of act from rock to DJs to cabaret and circus to fire dancing.

Dante's offers a classic, dark, lush atmosphere with award-winning pizza, and one of "the best damned bars on earth."

Thousands of regional, national and internationally-known artists and performers have graced the stage at Dante's, dropped by to wind down in the Limbo Lounge, or warmed themselves in front of the open fire-pit.

How to:

Go: Start the geolocation
During your itinerary, you will be signaled by alerts of monuments nearby, with its history and anecdotes in Push mode.
Once activated, 2 icons will appear “Map” and “Description”

Map: Localize monuments nearby and organize an itinerary.
Descriptive: Visualize the monuments with photos and texts.

We make great, interactive travel guides.
To make our guides we use the content that is freely available. Open content sites like Wikitravel, Wikipedia, World66 and Openstreetmap are among the best resources for any traveler. Our mission is to make that content relevant for you. So we mix and mash and annotate - and we distill great, relevant travel guides out of it.

We like open content. In fact some of us were involved in World66, one of the first open content travel guides on the web. Triposo's travel guides are very much a re-mix of open content out there.

TravelButton is a mobile phone application that allows travelers to easily consolidate guest room phone services and messaging with their personal smartphone, as well as have access to all hotel room phone services.

The TravelButton application will available in the iTunes App Store, Android Market and Blackberry App Store. Travelers simply download the free app as they would with any other online phone application.

Upon checking in to a hotel, TravelButton users simply open the app on their phones and select their hotel from a pre-populated list. Once their hotel is selected, users enter their name and room number or confirmation number. The traveler’s personal phone is now enabled with the hotel guest room functionality in addition to their existing phone capabilities. Hotel guests are disconnected from the room upon checking out of the hotel or can manually disconnect anytime.

TravelButton users can receive calls made directly to their guest room on their mobile devices and make and receive calls as they normally would. Standard hotel icons for wake-up calls, room service, front desk and other hotel amenities appear as icons on the guests phones, allowing the user to easily access these services.  Calls from guests’ mobile phone enabled with TravelButton will appear to the hotel staff to come from the guests’ rooms. A hotels’  standard identification information, such as room number and guest name, will be provided so that hotel staff can greet guests by name.

TravelButton also includes additional convenience services not usually provided on guest rooms phones such the ‘Nearby’ feature. TravelButton has a Nearby icon that allows guests to get location based points of interest, as well as frequently searched places such as coffee shops, pharmacies and shopping sites. Weather, maps and directions are all also available with one click in TravelButton.

인천은 근대문화유산의 보고(寶庫)다. 특히 현재의 중,동구 지역에는 서양식 근대 건축물들이 많이 남아 있다. 인천문화재단은 인천시민을 비롯한 국내외 방문객들이 역사적 배경지식을 갖고 이 지역을 여행할 수 있도록 『인천 개항장역사 도보여행』을 어플리케이션으로 개발했다.

1883년의 근대개항은 인천에 여러 변화를 가져왔다. 교육, 종교, 여가 등 각 방면에서 새로운 문화가 흘러 들어 생활전반으로 확대되었다. 특히 청국,일본,각국조계지가 있었던 개항장 일대는 외국인들의 활동이 활발해 국제도시의 성격이 돋보였다. 따라서 이 어플리케이션을 통해 근대 인천의 모습을 상상하고 경험할 수 있도록 조사 가능한 거의 모든 장소를 소개하고자 했다


1. 이 어플리케이션은 2009년 1판, 2010년 2판으로 발행된 책자를 수정,보완 했다. 일부 내용들의 GPS좌표의 정확성을 기했다.
2. 이 어플리케이션은 인천 개항장 일대의 근대문화유산을 표시한 전도(全圖)와 행정, 외교, 교육, 경제, 주거, 종교, 공공시설, 위락 등 7개 분야로 나뉜 주제별 답사코스 및 해설로 구성되었다.
3. 답사장소에 붙은 식별번호는 인천역을 출발지로 할때의 답사순서를 뜻한다. 이동경로는 각 코스별 지도에 표시되어 있다. (안드로이드 버전의 경우 지도상에서의 선택이 불가한 시스템 상황으로 하단에 건축물을 따로 클릭할 수 있도록 마련해 두었다, 정규 코스 외에 기타 장소로 구분되는 건축물은 정규코스의 번호를 이어 받도록 했다.)
4. 기타 장소로 구분된 답사장소는 도보거리 또는 고증문제로 인해 부득이 코스에서 제외된 곳일 뿐 중요도에 따른 구분은 아니다.
5. 답사장소 중 원형을 유지하고 있는 곳에는 장소명을 부기했고 원형이 확인되지 않았거나 이 해당지역 밖으로 이전한 경우는 장소명 뒤에 ‘터’를 붙였다. 그 위치를 파악할 수 없는 곳들은 장소명만 달았다. 단 일본인묘지, 중국인묘지, 외국인 묘지는 그 터를 파악할 수 있으나 위치를 지도에 따로 표기하지 않고, 본문에 본래 장소와 이전한 장소를 밝혔다.
6. 답사장소 중 일러스트레이션으로 장소를 표시한 곳들이 있다. 그곳들은 대부분이 그 원형을 유지하고 있는 곳들이다.
7. 외국어 고유명사 등의 한글표기는 원발음을 기준으로 삼았다. 그러나 널리 사용되어 이미 익숙해진 경우는 존중하였다.
