Assist Me
If you have broken down launch the app on your mobile phone and select ‘Assist Me’ from the menu. This will show your location on a map using GPS. Observe your location and touch the ‘Assist Me’ call button. This will dial directly to our Rescue Centre where you can tell our operator exactly where you are to ensure help will soon be on the way.

Traffic Updates
Thinking about possible traffic congestion that could ruin your journey? Plan ahead to make sure you get there on time. Simply select ‘traffic updates’ from the menu and you can view traffic alerts near your location or any UK location. Zoom out to see more alerts further away. Select any pin and read details of that incident.

My Renewals
My Renewals is nice to have. You will never have the need to go looking through those old documents again to find out when those important motoring essentials are due. All you need to do is enter your renewal details and this motoring diary will remind you three weeks before you are due to renew.

It's very simple:
1. Find the red sign with the house number(*); on the façade of the house which has grabbed your attention.
2. With the keyboard, choose the name of the city district: Hradčany, Staré Město, Nové Město, Malá Strana, Josefov.
3. Key in the house numbers and listen to the fascinating history of the building in your native language.

(*) The red house number signs contain the name of the city (such as Praha1), the district (such as Staré Město) and the house number (such as 915).

EatPL - Restaurants in Poland (v. 1.1.2)

This app creates a unique link between restaurant owners and their clients (us!)

On the one hand it gives convenient access to an offline database of restaurants in Poland (currently Warsaw, Cracow, Gdańsk, Gdynia, Sopot and growing). It comes with a map that can be browsed offline too. On the other hand (and here comes the important part) online access to the database is provided to restaurant owners (via www), so if you care to update the database from time to time you might get a selection of current offers provided by the restaurants (we're working on convincing restaurants to use EatPL!)

In a nutshell, you gotta try it!

Directions:
1. Before driving, open Drive Alive.
2. To make sure you receive credit for all your time spent driving, wait for the app to get a GPS connection.

GPS Location & Message center (v. GPSLocator)

Updated. Never lose your car in the carpark again. Send yourself a message for work, or any other location, find your way back to your last known place.  

Find a good fishing hole? A nice place for a view? Record it with Location Finder and also record distance as the crow flies from your current location to saved location.

Got to remember to call the client when you get to work? Ring a friend when you get home? Record it with the message system and when you arrive at your destination it will remind you.

Whats the weather at your saved location? Just use the new weather tool to get up to date data. Want to add a place without knowing the Latitude and Longitude? Use the new search tool, just type in the address and click on the appropriate address.

This program allows you to create and save waypoints, to record Latitude and Longitude and display how far you are from that point and in what direction it is so you can find your way home.

Locations can also be stored in a database to use at a later time. Stored locations can be seen on your Google Maps as well. Google Maps shows the current location as well as a selected Stored Location and a line between the two.

Although the database holds sample cities, it is developed more for use in the local area. The locations saved can also be tagged with a message that will automatically activate when you have reached your destination.

As the coding is based around the GPS Change event you have to move it around when loading new locations, otherwise it doesn't fire.

You can store a Temporary location, and find the distance back to it or store it permanently into a database with a name.

As the GPS sucks up battery life when you want to keep the location for a while I would store the current location to the Database, turn off the program and when you want to find your way back load it up again to get a fix.

YOU NEED TO WAVE IT AROUND SOMETIMES TO GET A FIX. The code only fires when the GPS coordinates are changed. Initially I would put it down and wait for a fix and nothing would happen. Such is life with GPS.
