Via GPS, this application remembers your car location and gives either a road directions or navigation to find your car. Even in the scenario without GPS signal, the notebook function kicks in and helps you take a photo or write down your car's place. Using Android's unique notification bar, it is very easy to switch back and forth between this app and other apps. For example, after setting the timer, you can press the "BACK" key to hide it and later on use the notification bar to bring it back. This app is designed for battery life, it will NEVER hug your CPU or will not interrupt the "deep sleep" mode thus consumes very tiny battery. The GPS will automatically shut down as soon as your location has been found or it gives up due to weak signal.

*To stop ringing, just pull down the notification bar.
*Press the "Option menu" will open the "setting" page which you can customize all settings according to your preferences.
*If you are at an open space and the GPS locating fails at the first time, please try one more time(press "Back" key then "Locate Car" key again) and you may get the location at the second time.
*If the toggle button titled "On Map" is set to "ON" (with a green bar), it means your car's location has been remembered.
*When you take a picture, put the phone in landscape will help reduce the distortion.

Path Tracking Lite records your GPS positions while you perform activities such as Walk/Run, Driving and Bike. Each activity is drawn with different color on the map. It display current and average speed, calories burned, time and distance information while performing activities. You can save and review all these information later for analysis.

Statistical information is displayed for the saved paths and saved paths can be displayed on the map. Speed chart can be displayed for the saved records.

Path information is saved in Gpx, Kml and Csv file formats. You can share recorded paths by sending with your mail account.

The application enables you to locate and record phone location and has the ability to share this information with other people. In the application itself you can display the location of all shared devices. On the web there is an option to display any historical data in the form of a trace.

Main features:
- supports monitoring when application is on background
- displaying your device and shared devices on a map
- recording of locations for future reference
- location sharing (sharing must be enabled on the monitored device)
- displaying historical traces on website
- adjustment of monitoring precision

When the application is run for the first time, you must log in using your existing account information or create a new one. The account may be used for logging in to the web too. After this you can turn on monitoring.

For location sharing there is an accounts list, where you must add the PoM ID of the person who wants to watch you (the other person must have a PhoneOnMap account). In this list you can see PoM IDs of all people who can see your position.

On the map tab, when you touch the phone name, the list of shared devices will appear.

To change your account or to create new one, you may use the Log Out button in the Settings tab.

Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.


Notes:
Use strong passwords for your accounts.
When you are sharing your location, use meaningful phone name so other people can recognize you among others.
