Greetings! My name is Halaina Cauble. I was a hair stylist in the City of Manassas Park, VA  for the past 15 years before my husband and I decided to settle in Myrtle Beach, SC.

If you're looking for a hair stylist that cares and listens, then I'm your Girl! I work with my clients in a collaborative manner by listening and working with YOU. It's not about me, it's all about YOU! No Drama, No Attitude, No Primadonna. Just Good, Friendly, Professional Service.

My goal is to provide each and every client with the highest quality hair services available, in an atmosphere of beauty, relaxation and comfort. I don't like to rush so I schedule sufficient time to perform your service efficiently without over booking. I take care to ensure that I stay on schedule because I respect YOUR time!

I trained and became a licensed cosmetologist in Virginia. Just out of beauty school. I opened and operated my own successful salon for several years.  I am now celebrating my fifteen years and my vision has become a reality.

Very early in my career I began using great professional products in my salon. I trained extensively with Tabatha Coffey (Tabatha's Salon Takeover and Sam Villa ) to be educated on hair color. With my combined training, continued education and years of experience I can say with confidence that I am A TRUE COLOR AND CUTTING SPECIALIST.

I believe in a thorough consultation with every client, based upon your features, skin tone and eye color, lifestyle, and style you desire, you and I will create the perfect look that's right for you. A haircut must not only look great walking out the door, but grow in perfectly and still look great until your next service. My sharpest tools are my eyes, not my razor or my shears.

I recognize the increased self esteem people have when they feel good about how they look. Because of this I partnered with Transitional Housing BARN, Inc. Every six weeks I provide free haircuts and share beauty tips with homeless women and their children. Everyone should look and feel beautiful and I am excited to help elevate the spirits of the women and children BARN serves. After a nice haircut moms will be able to go into job interviews with more confidence. In addition, I recently partnered with Soles4Souls, a non-profit organization to provide new or gently warn shoes for men, women and children of all ages. I was an active member of Prince William County Greater Manassas Chamber of Commerce and now I am active with Myrtle Beach Chamber of Commerce.

My education is constant. I keep aware of available classes that will expand my skills and knowledge. I also keep abreast of what is going on in my industry by reading trade journals and even taking courses. That is the standard I hold myself to each and every client.

Myrtle Beach Boardwalk (v. 1.3)

Myrtle Beach's 1.2 mile oceanfront boardwalk is open for your enjoyment!  The groundbreaking was held Saturday, May 15, 2010, as part of our Beach Music Festival.  Here are some snapshots from the boardwalk's first year.The boardwalk stretches from the Second Avenue Pier to the 14th Avenue Pier and feature threes different sections of varying width and shape.  The first section, the North Walkway, extends from the 14th Avenue North Pier to Plyler Park at the foot of Mr. Joe White Avenue.  It features a raised wooden deck, with dune landscaping and vegetation, to create a serene, peaceful and natural environment and beach experience.  The walkway in this section is eight feet wide with connecting pathways to beach access points.

The second section, the high-intensity portion of the boardwalk, extends from Plyler Park to Eighth Avenue North.  This section adjoins beachfront stores and shops and invokes a carnival and nostalgia atmosphere with its sights, sounds and energy.  This section ranges from 26 to 50 feet in width and features sidewalk cafes, arcades, amusements and more.

The third and final section, the South Promenade, continues from Eighth Avenue North to First Avenue North, just south of the Second Avenue Pier.  The South Promenade will be a lineal park promenade with benches and naturallandscaping. This section offers relaxing views of the beach and passive recreational opportunities.  Main walkways are 12 feet wide, while secondary paths are eight feet wide.

Now that it's open, the Boardwalk and Promenade provides visitors and residents with a contrasting pedestrian alternative to Ocean Boulevard, a great view of the beach and a fun place to stroll, dine, shop and play.
