Cobra iRadar for Android is the first radar/laser/camera detector that integrates with your Android Smartphone. Get a msg email etc you will have to exit and come back, kinda sucks driving along listening to google music navigating and want to be alerted when off screen, noooooo nada! Come on guys nice try but write a real android app! Road warriors like me need to multitask! It did run on my xoom but has quit and now shows up un-compatible. Few minor changes will make it rock! 1. Multitask 2. show notification bar! 3. Add ability to report a cop (wow done)

Pairing with Bluetooth Hi Kasia, you will need to pair the iRadar device from the phone settings->wireless and network->bluetooth settings. Once your phone scans and finds the iRadar, click on it to pair. The app is not needed to simply pair the iRadar device and please note, this process is only needed to be done once. Once paired, simply launch the app and the app would make a connection automatically to be able to transmit/receive any data. Thx!

Doesn't connect to GPS most of the time!!! I bought this detector for the added value you get by interfacing with my Droid. Most of the time, it doesn't connect to GPS, and when it does, it disconnects. Without GPS most of the features I wanted don;t work. If I don't see a fix soon, I'll be forced to return my irad-105.

Concept is good, but does not work... I have an HTC EVO. Everytime I use the Cobra Iradar app, it freezes, or locks up my phone once I try to quit the app. My phone is completly disabled once I press the Quit button. Sad. It is an excellent idea, needs work. Probably will return device.

Works, but only if I follow specific steps Have a HTC Incredible phone, running Cyanogen Mod 7 (Nightly #78). 6.1 behaves the same. The ONLY way I can get it to work: 1) Make sure device is NOT paired 2) Start app. I'll say is Disconnected. Hit Menu and go to Wireless settings 3) in Bluetooth settings Discover devices, then Pair with iRadar 105 4) make sure phone is no more than 'a few inches' away from device 5) After about 5 seconds the blue light will come on and the device will make a 'connection' noise. 6) It will now work fine.

Pathetic Out of 12 of my different test android devices, this application launches successfully on 3 of them. As someone who works with mobile devices daily, I have seen my share of poorly coded apps and this one takes the cake. 25% success rate for a installation only test, who knows how many bugs users may encounter during actual use. After purchasing the 100 model in anticipation of the android app, it looks like I will need the 105 model to even use the android app. Thanks Cobra for not announcing that.
