Displays US FAA Sectional Charts with overlay of current GPS info, weather, and flight plan. Records GPS position through breadcrumbs and allows uploading and viewing of path in Google Earth. Includes support for Victor Airways and Jetways. Improves situational awareness and helps explore flight planning possibilities. Allows storage aviation map data for disconnected use. Map data supplied by ChartGeek.com. Integrates with RunwayScout (which is strongly recommended to be installed first) for additional functionality including IFR procedures. Free download, but requires Avilution subscription ($4.95/month gives access for all subscription products). Please note that AviationMaps uses Google's servers for authentication, but your password is NEVER sent to any Avilution server and we never see your password in any form. All authentication takes place directly on Google using their OpenID preferred system.
