[2013-08-30] A Google User: No problems Had a couple of issues in the past but they were either sorted immediately or an update fixed the problem. I am still a bit wary of doing the current update due to having a ticket at the moment so I will wait until it runs out to do that. Other than that it makes life easier. There are still a few of the older drivers who are shocked to see me show them a ticket on my phone! |

[2013-08-29] A Google User: Not working today All of a sudden this morning 1 March the app is not working. Keeps saying no connection. Extremely frustating to get on the bus stand in front of the driver and app wont load!!!!! Sort it out!!!!! UPDATE: Its now 6 months later and this app still doesn't work. Arriva is the worst organisation I have ever come across. I lost my job as a result of Arrivas incompetency. Just turnes up 1:15mins late. I wrote to Arriva about the problem and requested they send a letter of explaination to my employer. They didnt. |

[2013-08-20] A Google User: No support from developing team or nothing after months of trying to get the issue rese The application started of good running smoothly and making easy payments when it was time to buy tickets with the odd crash here and there then it just wouldn't open one day it seems I wasn't the only one having this issue either all the app says is report which I did yet still nothing no update no reply back nothing it's a good thing that my ticket expired a few days before not like some one here who lost their whole month ticket worth £75 |

[2013-07-25] A Google User: Very useful app I love this app although it's not quite like they say in the ad....'forgotten change, buy an m-ticket' takes a bit of setting up. It could be made clearer which zones cover which areas as this seems to involve some guess work or emailing customer services. Telephone support is helpful but may not be open when you need it e.g. you delete the app and you need your account re-credited. On the whole an awesome application. |

[2013-07-04] A Google User: Unreliable Ive used this app (on my GS2) 5 times to buy a bus ticket. It has crashed twice when loading the ticket resulting in me having to remove the battery and reboot the phone. Rest assured, no Arriva driver will keep the bus waiting while you do this. |

[2013-06-25] A Google User: Could be so much better This app causes my phone to crash when it's left open, takes ages to load active tickets and generally has made my bus journeys more difficult. If it wasn't so glitchy it could be the ultimate travel app. |

The only improvement I can suggest is for the app to remember which ticket you purchased last. I accidentally purchase a ticket for the Midlands, because it keeps defaulting to that... I'll give it 4 stars this time around |

I have now lost just over £20 in tickets with them not syncing to my account, and it's happened on more than one occasion. Going to chase a refund for my tickets and uninstall. |

[2013-06-01] A Google User: Good app Great app, but something strange has happened to the app icon, After downloading the app, the icon is tiny, yet when I go on my app in settings the icon is normal sized. This is the same if i download a launcher the app image resizes to a normal size then when back on sense it goes back to a tiny image, any help would be appreciated. |

[2013-05-25] A Google User: Rubbish If you get a new phone you have to call them to transfer it which means if it's a Saturday you can't use your ticket until Monday. You have to have it loaded in advance as you can't have it as a widget. It's more of an inconvenience than helpful. |

I have had so many issues with this app, from error messages when trying to purchase tickets , and now today i am getting an error saying that the app cant establish a connection at all rendering my 4-weekly ticket unusable for while i was trying to get to work. I now figured out to get the error to disappear im having to constantly keep hitting the back button, but it still keeps re appearing. The issues and kinks really need to be sorted out else the app is highly unreliable and not worth using |

[2013-03-02] A Google User: Seem to be problems at the moment... This app has been much more stable for ages - until yesterday when it would not connect even though I had 3G connection. I found that I could use my ticket by dismissing the error by pressing the back button on my phone - rather than clicking the QUIT button on the error. Still, very frustrating. Very poor communication from arriva about the existence of the problem and a resolution timescale. |

However today it wouldn't connect so it wouldn't let me use the ticket. I was able to use my connection for other apps so it must be on arriva's end. It obviously should allow you to use your ticket in offline mode! |

No need to carry cash etc. The main drawback is when it inexplicably stops functioning and you get verbal abuse from self-important bus drivers keen to blame everyone else and accuse you of lying infornt of a bus load of people. I guess they just can't get the staff... |

[2013-03-01] A Google User: HTC One X + The app continues to improve. I had the same issue with the app saying there was no connection to the server, I just disconnected from WiFi and Data and opened it and it was fine. if you get the error just press back and you can use your ticket. It's annoying that is does not keep anything local for your purchased tickets so if you reinstall you need to call up the customer services to have them restored. I have always found that they have restored them while I was on the phone with them. I would 5 star if they made it so you only needed data to activate your ticket and from then on it works for what ever time frame you have purchased without having to hit the server again as i usually update it via wifi as i go to bed, after midnight, or first thing in the morning and it can be a pain if i forget as i do not live in a great mobile data area. |
