Optimize your payments for the New York City Subway! The Advanced Metrocard Calculator will tell you exactly how much to pay for a specific number of trips (great for tourists) or how much to add to a Metrocard in order to get an exact number of trips (great for locals). Includes calculations for the New York City Subway, the AirTrain to JFK Airport, and the PATH train.
The MTA gives you a 7% bonus when you spend more than $10 on a Metrocard, but leaves it up to you to figure out the very odd amount you must pay to end up with an even number of rides. Don't fret: the Advanced Metrocard Calculator will figure it out for you and make sure you aren't left with money on your Metrocard when it ends its useful life.
