The AA has over one hundred years of experience in seeking out, assessing and recommending the best places to eat and stay in the country. The 2013 AA Bed & Breakfast Guide app features thousands of recommended and inspected guest accommodation, from cosy rural farmsteads to smart city centre guest houses; and from trendy B&B's to country inns.
All listed accommodation ratings displaying an AA logo, stars and designator have been inspected by a professional AA inspector. Entries may include a description, price information, images, telephone numbers, website addresses and more.
The AA Bed & Breakfast Guide 2013 includes the following main features:
• Thousands of recommended B&B's in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland

• AA Star ratings (1 to 5 stars) and Associate scheme ratings

[2012-03-09] A Google User: Why phone state permission? App was updated a few weeks back to 2012 data. Now the what's new says the same while adding the permission for obtaining phone state and identity! This is what I call malware - uninstalled! |

[2011-12-16] A Google User: ARGHH!! KIND OF MISSING THE POINT. This app has obviously been designed by extremely rich app developers for their select, extremely rich clients. The rest of us folks, for whom price matters, have bizarrely been left forgotten & un-catered for with this app. Whilst its search results list looks all very pretty, with nice thumbnail photos, PRICES ARE NOT DISPLAYED & the only filter of the results they provide is for Star Ratings. So we are left to click through individually on all of the potentially hundreds of search results, to finally have revealed to us what the actual cost is to stay at each of the locations. Come on AA, include prices in the results list & give us a Sort Order for Price. If this gets sorted out, the app may be half decent. The info within each sub-page is OK, & it's good to have a proper AA star rating for the accommodation. And unlike the previous reviewer, I found that the app functioned without problem on my phone (SGS2). |
