Serious login issues! Spent 20+ minutes trying to get the login via Facebook connect thing to work. I get to facebook and am even logged in, in that window your app brings up, and yet I am still not logged in insofar as your app is concerned. Your fault or facebook's is irrelevant. My experience was/is terrible. Epic fail!

Works ok at finding places nearby. Not sure if there's been an update or not, but the app has serious issue with working over wifi. Turn off wifi and use data and it works fine. Turn wifi back on and it refuses to display restaurant data, says webpage unavailable.

Horrible implementation Once you are looking at a restaurant it is next to impossible to go back to the search list. Of course, you can if you press the back button about 60 times..but that's an application "feature", right?

Very poor app. Don't waste your time with this app. Doesn't come close to what you get when using the IOS version. Can't login to check your own reviews or leave one. The UI is lousy and useless if you're a regular user. Yelp offers much better UI. Sorry Urbanspoon but you could have easily converted the IOS version for Android like Yelp did but you chose not to. It also doesn't help if you're bias against legitimate negatives reviews.

Android version SUCKS!!! I've been all over this version and cannot find the home screen that iOS has. I just spent several minutes on my tablet attempting to log in, and only attempting, because the app simply wouldn't allow me to log on through my Facebook account, EVEN THOUGH THE ACCOUNTS ARE ALREADY CONNECTED!!

Good results Used urban spoon on vacation and it came in very handy. I just use it for ideas within towns or cities. I never expect it to find things near me in a city or use it for directions getting to a restaurant. It's easy enough to use a map for that...

Android Bug I just got this app and couldn't write a review. My text box was malfunctioning. I was typing and it wouldn't separate the words at the end of the line and when it moved down to the next line my two words were together. This is hard to describe but I've never had this problem on any kind of electronic device.

Ugly design A) The focus is more on loading ads than actual content. This becomes evident if you have ads blocked and press the back button. The app will try to refresh the ad rather than go to the previous page. It takes about 4 to 5 repeated back button presses to go back. B) The look and layout is very ugly. You guys would be much better off following Google's Holo specification. C) The reviews are not useful. Until I uninstalled, I just used the app to look up addresses.

Only usable at all via gps... ...and search with gps disabled only works for a very small selection of cities. With gps on, it randomly throws unrelated menu items onto restaurant menus. Also crashes. Just use the website. Skip the app.

Doesn't update location.... Used to be good, now you have to manually update your location which makes no sense. This app was only useful because I could quickly see what was nearby when in an unfamiliar place, what's the point of it being stuck at home when I know all the restaurants around there already! Why is it 3 levels into the menu to change location, it should have a 'center on current location' button front and center like all the maps apps etc.

Can't locate user city The app hasn't been functioning properly since the update. Why can't it locate user city or just remember the choices made last time? It's also a lot harder to browse for random new restaurants in the city with "popular" and "talk of the town" list limited to 10 or 20. Your website works so much better and that's a problem for Android users...
