Real-time speech to speech translator for Android.

NOTE:
Some languages were removed due to incompatibility with the new translation API. The old translation API was deprecated and is no longer available.

Features:
- speech recognition in 15 languages
- output voices in over 30 languages.
- home screen widget
- translation can be sent as SMS (text only) and email (text and voice).
- supports Android 3.x devices (Honeycomb)

This application does not use any TTS library. It uses a web service for text-to-speech operations and it's compatible with Android 1.5 or later.

Excellent app on HTC G2 and Nexus 7 Top notch. I love how the translated speech in most languages seems to have natural inflection. Too bad the Vietnamese sounds like a robot as it would be very helpful on an upcoming trip. Nonetheless I bet I'll still use it for text translation.

Not good for Hindi Please rebuild the translation base for hindi. It worked wrongly on english to hindi. Also adding Bengsli is suggested.

A language suggestion. I really love this app but I wish you guys would add Jamaican Patois. I honestly believe it would be a terrific addition to your plethora of Languages.

Internet Advertising Window. Before the last update, i would have easily given 5 stars. Ever since the update, however, I've struggled to use the app without getting an annoying pop-up advertising window opening my internet, causing the app to close and meaning it takes a lot longer to translate than it did before. Please sort this out or I will have to uninstall. :(

Good voice recognition; rotten translations The VR is excellent but judging by the french, holy hell, the translations are crap! They're pronounced well tho even if they're ridiculous and nonsensical. Being that the point is to make yourself understood, I give it pretty low marks except for entertainment value.

Awesome This app is awesome, I tricked a friend of mine saying I spoke polish fluently, (all in polish), and apparently there are no mistakes at all! Even in paragraphs! Just disappointed they tool Welsh of the language selections :/ other than that, fab!

Binary translate Every time i asked it to repeat something it would show half of it right and glitch other half with letters and numbers. But it made sure to translate screw up. Not worth time to download

is good but you need internet connection to work is good but you need internet connection to work if only could make a version that downloads the data and uses own algor to speak using that data theres some paid translator apps that dont use web though but are prebuilt phrases rather then take what you say and convert it to another language so theres a market still for a better translator app for mobie

It helps if you know their phonetics as sometimes you need to re phrase the sentence and for some odd reason it repeats the last thing you translated while you are speaking the next sentence so I just use the text. But over all it is by far (and I do mean by a loooooong fn way) the best app ive used. Thanks guys and great work! Molodyets!

Not what it seems Well I thought this was a decent app but what I didn't know was it used the internet to translate. This uses a lot of data and I mean a lot. This used 1/3 of my data that I used for the month in 5 minutes. I just tried about 10 translations. If you don't mind it using all your data than go for it.
