Talk To Me Classic (v. 2.2)

Real-time speech to speech translator for Android.

NOTE:
Some languages were removed due to incompatibility with the new translation API. The old translation API was deprecated and is no longer available.

Features:
- compatible with SVOX high quality voices
- speech recognition in 15 languages
- output voices in multiple languages.
- home screen widget
- translation can be sent as SMS (text only) and email (text and voice)
- compatible with Android 1.6 and above.

Android 2.2 and above : Read app Help if you have problems with speech output.

Android 1.6-2.1: Update TTSExtended to the latest version available in the Android Market.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

This application does not work on all devices. There are some known problems on certain devices and we are working hard to make the application work on all devices.

Uncheck "Always use my settings" from phone's TTS Settings

Uncheck "Override App Settings" in TTS Extended (Android 1.6 to 2.1)

Super App !!! I like the app very much. It almost work very productively. The good thing is there is no need to type enyrhing from the keyboard. Voice recognation is positive. It is together with you in many of the countries. FAST, RELIABLE, POWERFULL BUT ALSO VERT EAST TO USE...

Good. but annoying. The app is good quality as are the translations. However it is really annoying that you cannot change the delay on speech to text translations. If the speaker stops for less than a second the audio automatically gets translated whether the speaker or audio is complete. Can get very annoying if a person is a slow talker because after every couple words it will stop, translate, and then you have to begin again. This is a problem with Google's Speech to text software notsomuch this program.

Great. Never had a problem with this and it helps with my learning of Portuguese and also to help communicate with my brazilian friends who speak English but are more comfortable in their native tongue.

GREAT TRANSLATOR! This is a great app. I'm shocked that it is free because it is such an amazing app. The voice translator works extremely well and can always tell what I'm saying. There are many different languages and it is very simple to use. Great app, does exactly want you would in a translator and more. Definitely get this app.

right concept yet unfinished you cannot translate from hebrew from some reason the mic goes white unless you swap the language. does not catch all your phrases unless you speak roboticaly. need polishing.
