[2013-10-14] A Google User: Invaluable Know what the trains are doing before the staff do. |
[2013-09-08] A Google User: Widget Stopped working Widget stopped working few days ago |
[2013-09-05] A Google User: Used to be great on s3 As title suggests, the widgets keep failing and have contacted developer with no real solution . Very frustrating as I have to keep putting widgets back on my s4. Pls fix, and I'll fix my rating. |
[2013-09-05] A Google User: My favorite train app. |
[2013-08-26] A Google User: Nearest station is usually very inaccurate I don't just mean quite inaccurate, I mean it thinks I'm in Scotland or Cornwall when I'm in London which is annoying because when I'm in a hurry for a train I won't to be able to quickly choose my nearest station based on phone mast signal (not GPS) like other apps do without fuss. Otherwise pretty tasty app except that it makes you start from scratch when you multitask back to it |
[2013-08-21] A Google User: Excellent app Extremely useful app, with all the necessary features and a good interface. |
[2013-08-08] A Google User: The app that makes paper timetables redundant This app is superb. Quick and easy to use, I never have to consult old-fashioned paper timetables any more. |
[2013-08-07] A Google User: Almost there Generally works well, but can be a bit slow sometimes. "Show Calling Points" never seems to work. |
[2013-08-06] A Google User: Makes rail travel easy Whether checking a specific journey or just live arrivals, this app makes it all very easy. But the real genius is the widget. If your commute is delayed, you'll know without ever having to open an app. Very useful and convenient. :-) |
[2013-08-04] A Google User: Need train times? Best app. If you need to see train times quickly and efficiently this is the app to get. |
[2013-08-02] A Google User: Great app except for a bug and some late updates Great app. Train info is accurate and usually up to date, and using the app is often faster than the desktop national rail website. Could do with platform information being shown before the train has already left. The switch between home/work based on location seems to be completely broken recently. |
[2013-07-31] A Google User: Widget not working The app works but the widget says failed to get train data. Tried removing and then putting it back. Still not working... |
[2013-07-22] A Google User: Gypped Bought this on the false pretense that it was the official app. Just get TrainLine or Virgin Trains for free. |
[2013-07-11] A Google User: Which platform ?! Never tells you what platform the train is arriving at, and its been like that for the past 6 months ! Fix it ! |
[2013-07-07] A Google User: Workmanlike Useful, reliable, simple Very competent, reliable, useful app. Its interface is not amazing, but certainly functional. Much handier than the web site |
[2013-07-02] A Google User: Widgets gone Not sure what has happened in the latest release but the widgets no longer function and the ability to add new widgets has been removed... |
[2013-06-29] A Google User: Really handy Only ever have problems when signal is dodgy. Great otherwise, especially for remembering previous journeys |
[2013-06-28] A Google User: Ok when it works.. For some reason not available for the past two weeks. No good comments for a paid app. |
[2013-06-12] A Google User: Got worse. Used to be brilliant but now needs me to use Google location services. Used to use GPS. Why the big change? Can no longer recommend. |
[2013-06-10] A Google User: Excellent data and widgets Better than National Rail. Easy UI, plus widgets inform quickly when your train is in or is delayed. |
[2013-06-09] A Google User: Love this app Stable, consistent, does the job. |
[2013-06-05] A Google User: App needs fixing Widget will not show times for any routes that are not direct. Also, the app constantly switches between displaying SLOW trains only and FAST trains only. It's HYPER annoying, as the settings are completely ignored. Caused me to miss trains several times as I couldn't see which platform they were on. PLEASE FIX for 5 star rating. |
[2013-05-19] A Google User: Lots of crashes on my S 4 This app worked well on my S II, but usually crashes on my s 4 |
[2013-05-18] A Google User: £2.50 booking fee per ticket. Extortionate booking fee. Also no entry field for number of passengers, so you need to go through a separate transaction per person. So if you're travelling with a group, then you can book a ticket then to discover the train is now fully booked, so you wasted a ticket. And the booking fee £2.50 per person. This fee is shown at final stage of booking, after you tick the T&C boxes (the T&C do not mention the booking fee) and after you click BUY NOW. For my £8 ticket that's a bit of a liberty. |
[2013-05-18] A Google User: Good app I've used this app for just over a year and have had no issues. If you want to buy tickets I would suggest Trainline is better but for accurate up to date info this is the best app. Recently with delays at my local station I had more up to date info than the station staff!! |
[2013-05-08] A Google User: I use this every day and it never let's me down. |
[2013-05-05] A Google User: You wait 6 months for an update and then 6 come along at once.... The "view calling points" bit never seems to work on the road (rail), but apart from that the live updates are quicker than at the station.... |
[2013-05-04] A Google User: Very useful does what it says it does |
[2013-04-04] A Google User: Shame it doesn't use Google accounts Does the job nicely but setting up alerts is more work than its worth. |
[2013-03-29] A Google User: bazal would be great if you could allow us to change font size background colour and font colour I prefer bold yellow large text black background that would make it easier for people who are visually impaired I would give your app 5 stars if we could see were exactly were the train is on the route of list of stations thankyou. |
[2013-03-26] A Google User: Landscape mode? Any chance? Very clunky trying to use in portrait mode on a tablet when everything else is in landscape... |
[2013-03-13] A Google User: Superb Great app |
[2013-03-12] A Google User: Good... When it works! This app is great when it works, but it's not very reliable. There have been countless times when trains have been cancelled or delayed, but the app hasn't reported it. Even now, I'm waiting for a train that is delayed by 11 mins, but the app is saying it's left! If you could rely on it, I would give this app 5 stars. |
[2013-02-16] A Google User: Used to be great Its just too unreliable now. It misses stations from journeys which the National Rail app includes. I almost wasted 45 mins waiting for another train because this app claimed a train didn't stop at my station when in fact it did. It's a shame but I've decided to uninstall it now. |
[2013-02-14] A Google User: Fantastic app but has one problem Update: The calling points never seem to come up for any journey I have done in the last 12 months which is very annoying for certain journeys I do. Once this problem is sorted I will change my rating back to 5 stars Very good and extremely useful app.It is more relevant able than the boards at the train station. I use this now for all train journeys |
[2013-02-11] A Google User: Very poor. Doesnt update with delays. Very poor. |
[2013-02-10] A Google User: Good app Always gives me good results. |
[2013-02-06] A Google User: Rail Planner Live Very user friendly. |
[2013-02-04] A Google User: The widgets make it good, even better if.... SUGGESTION! Even better if the search results either in the widget or in the normal use of the app could be filtered on fast trains only |
[2013-01-31] A Google User: Unreliable, outdated, overly complicated Despite this being a paid app. I have to say Pubtran (available for free) is far superior. This app behind on travel routing despite having live in the title. The user interface is clunky and dated and overly complicated. |
[2013-01-29] A Google User: Some text too small to read Force close issue fixed :) |
[2013-01-29] A Google User: Fantastic I downloaded this app a few months ago in the hope I could make getting the train in and out of London on a daily basis easier. I can honestly say this app is fantastic, it accurately displays the correct times, delays, expected arrival/departure times as well as the correct platform numbers... And the added ability of the widget makes it nice and simple to see where I need to be and when. Highly recommended! |
[2013-01-26] A Google User: Used to be good. Now regularly shows delayed trains as on time. |
[2013-01-22] A Google User: Would be useful if the data was kept up to date Repeatedly First Capital Connect times are not kept up to date. Delays to trains, cancellations, changes to platforms none of these are kept current. Whether this is a fault of FCC or National Rail, sadly it makes this app useless. |
[2013-01-06] A Google User: appsolutely brilliant app If you take the train daily, weekly or just a one off train journey this app is great for the the platforms to be on so you know where to be. It's great for buying tickets . It's a must have app for anyone they are also very supportive if you have a problem . This app is recommended . Thank you. |
[2012-12-31] A Google User: Great Best rail app to use. |
[2012-12-27] A Google User: Good but buggy (still) I purchased this app quite some time ago as I was impressed by it, the app is good, however it still has issues displaying calling points. Sometimes it does sometimes it doesn't. It can't be that bad as other free app manages to do it just fine, and that's pretty good app too. Wish I cud get my money back! |
[2012-12-20] A Google User: Good but a couple of annoying bugs. Generally good, buy there are bugs, such as slower direct trains never show up in results, regardless of the setting that is meant to control this. |
[2012-12-19] A Google User: Works ok It's ok for a while then crashes then it won't work. |
[2012-12-19] A Google User: Fast and easy to use... ...essential app for anyone who takes a lot of trains, with realtime updated platform, times and delay information. |
[2012-12-18] A Google User: Gutted Had this on my old phone always showed the platform, since having this on my new phone, no platforms, useless, now I stand around clueless like everyone else. |
[2012-12-13] A Google User: Fine Works well |
[2012-12-12] A Google User: Galaxy s3 Very useful up to date times helps alot :-) |
[2012-12-12] A Google User: GPS positioning broken, the gps features work on all other apps but this one permenantly thinks I am at work |
[2012-12-11] A Google User: Excellent App for regular train users |
[2012-12-11] A Google User: Commuter's dream I really like the departure board widget. At Stratford, the arrival and departure info is woeful, this app makes it much easier to go direct to the correct platform. Whoever thought of switching destinations automatically based on location deserves a pat on the back. |
[2012-12-11] A Google User: . Very useful |
[2012-12-11] A Google User: Works More live than the boards at London stations. Great tool to help with the terrible southeastern trains we use. They get 1 star. Disgusting how we are treated |
[2012-12-11] A Google User: Calling points don't work Calling points don't work any more. Keeps looping thorough 3 retries. |
[2012-12-11] A Google User: Excellent Use it all the time, very handy! |
[2012-12-06] A Google User: Widget disappeared Where has the widget gone since the December update? |
[2012-12-04] A Google User: This app doesnt include all trains available, beware. For example on 4.11.12 when asked for trains from St Pancras - Bedford, it listed only slow ones |
[2012-11-29] A Google User: Broken midget Widget broken for months. Starting to regret buying this app... |
[2012-11-27] A Google User: Superb Can't live without this app for my daily commute into London. Everything you need to plan your train journey is in this app. |
[2012-11-26] A Google User: Essential but ugly. Essential for UK commuters I commute by train every day, so useful. Although this app really needs updating to the Holo UI standards, the widgets look rubbish. |
[2012-11-25] A Google User: Can't fault this app. Tells you which platform, if delayed or cancelled. Been using for 2 years, updates itself from time to time. Brilliant. |
[2012-11-22] A Google User: Love the widget. Superbly useful app |
[2012-11-21] A Google User: Not compatible with Android 4.2 "Your device isn't compatible with this version" on Nexus S i9020T running Android 4.2 AOSP. |
[2012-11-20] A Google User: Superb app More up to date than the board t the station |
[2012-11-19] A Google User: Can't fault it By far the best app for train times, the widgets work well and its got some useful features and it's a lot better than the National Enquiries app. |
[2012-11-17] A Google User: Great app but... Latest update when try to change time date force close please fix |
[2012-11-17] A Google User: Almost perfect I use it every day. Money well spent. |
[2012-11-17] A Google User: Unreliable at best This app would be great if it worked reliably, which it doesn't. I'm on an S2, and the widget currently doesn't work at all, but even before on my HTC I had endless times where it failed to change location despite google maps being able to fix my location in seconds, that or it just refuses to update. Shoddy for a paid-for app. |
[2012-11-17] marcin: Great app but... Latest update when try to change time date force close please fix |
[2012-11-17] Shaun: Almost perfect I use it every day. Money well spent. |
