New York Subway & Bus maps (v. 3.2b)

Subway and bus map of New York City (NYC) with bus, railroad and ferry connections. Now it features the late night subway map.

Official maps from the MTA, updated and movable to the SD card. The app downloads each bus map the first time you open it. Each bus map weights around 2 MB, so I recommend downloading it through Wifi and waiting a couple of minutes.
If a map doesn't download after giving some time, try performing an "empty cache" through the applications menu in your operating system settings.

Users with Android versions prior to 2.1 might experience errors.

Popup ads were removed long ago, as a response to feedback. Double banners are a bug, please let me know if it persists after update. Send me your suggestions and I'll try to add/fix them.

Good app -- Wish there was an ad-free paid version Good app and provides nice, clear, easy to use and zoom in/out maps of buses and, most importantly, the subway. However, I wish there was an ad-free version that we could pay for. The ad just takes up space that would otherwise make the map larger and easier to see and use. Hope there are plans for an ad-free version...

Original is better & no adds Bug after update.... New update brings big fat advertising on top. Why messing that much? Keep simple. !!!! Uninstalling !!!!! the average google ad is the big fat ad ! come one ! there wos nothing when first installed, then after update, it came ! original MTA map has no ads & has all what it needs...

Good as it would get. My only concern is that the maps aren't updated to the most recent maps (I.e. subway service after sandy) including SBS updates (I.e. +m34). Otherwise, its a great map to use!

Great Used this app approximately one thousand times on a recent 4 day trip to NYC. Was perfect. Didn't need Internet and can zoom in nice and close to make sure your getting on the right train. Especially important in Midtown Manhattan. Highly recommend

Asks for person info every time you open I loved this app until I did the latest update and now it asks me to sign up for email updates every time I open it, even if I click on "no thanks". Very annoying when you are standing on the subway platform and you have about 10 seconds before you need to decide whether or not you can take the train that is rolling in. PLEASE revise this annoying functionality in an updated version.
