IATA / ICAO Dictionary (v. 1.9.1)

Offline aviation database for IATA/ICAO codes.

This app contains the IATA/ICAO codes for airports (over 11.000), aircraft and airlines (over 5.000).
After the first start you will asked if you want to create the database. The database will created offline. You don´t need to be online.

I can´t answer to the remarks. If you have problems please write me a mail. I will do my best to fix it.

- Name, Elevation, coordinates, timezone, Runway, Communication
- download of Metar/TAF reports
-Notam download
- Decoder for Snowtams Notam)
-sunrise/sunset
- airport indication with ggogle maps
-airport in the vicinity function. Is searching for airports in your vicinity. (GPS or network required)
-distance calculation

Great app, exceeding expectations! Now I realise why it took some time for the download on my Nexus: it's full of useful information! Found all my European airports we fly to, then checked weather and notams followed by RW length and direction . Great stuff.

INCOMPLETE It might be complete for US but rest of the world missing some INTERNATIONAL airports. Airplanes incomplete too. PA28 missing?? Sometimes stops unexpectedly. Good for now but needs lot of improvement.

Great App with a request This is a very useful app for airline pilots. Have you considered adding sunrise/sunset info from your Solar/Moon Calculator to the airport data. This would also be very useful in your Aviation Pilot Logbook so that day/night flight times could be automatically calculated. Handy app for pilots I'm just a student pilot, but I use this app a lot. It has (almost) all the features you can have on your PDA for aviation. Author is very responsive, so if you need support, you can have it, however you won't need any, the app is working well. :) I would pay for this...

The application itself is great but it affects the screen orientation after downloading. The screen of other application was stuck in portrait view.
