I'm uninstalling and reverting to the OLDER version!! 1) This new version SUCKS. It matches that on the iPhone, which lacks the ability to manually reselect a route while Navigation is in progress. The older version displayed three different tabs at the top that showed the miles, ETA, and basic route info, which was easy operate and read while on the road. 2) The routes are also harder to see because the visual treatment of the traffic maps are too subtle and too small. 3) Bring back the old zoom buttons for easier one-handed operation. I'm uninstalling this version. WTF

Update is a downgrade - lack of stability/lots of force closes in navigatio This app used to be perfect for years. But the recent overhaul has led to a massive lack of stability & force closes. When Im navigating, switch to another app and try to return back to navigation, at least 50% of the time the app crashes and I have to restart the app. Interface is also tough to get used to.

Update = downgrade Version 7 adds the one feature I wanted (arrival time in nav) and removes everything I like. Searching for nearby places doesn't work well, and I can't pan to find more places like I could before. Nav doesn't show current street anymore. I went back to version 6.

Very poor update I switched back to the old version much more user friendly and stable the new update crashes when you switch to another screen and come back to it like if I'm using the navigation then I get a phone call when I try to go back there goes maps crashing and if I'm not in a 4g area I have to tell the person I will call them back after reentering the address I'm a truck driver and I use it daily that was a horrible upgrade I have un installed the updates and enjoying the previous version very dependable

Not a single improvement, but tons of problems. I created a google+ account just so I could express my disdain with this app. It used to work perfectly, and in an obvious attempt to make it look more like Apple maps (god only knows why) google has destroyed one the their most well recognized tools. Recent Update Removed Features? I'm rating only one star because Google has removed My Favorite/My Places. You can no longer edit and use your favorite places with ease of use. There's no phone number listed when you look up a business, only a Call button. Where am I ? The July 2013 update has major issues compared to the previous version in that GPS doesn't always get your location precisely and when used as navigation loses the GPS completely. Not good if you're driving somewhere you're unsure of. The only plus is optional choices of roads when starting navigation but if GPS fails, it's all useless. We need a flux fast!!
