Georeader (v. 1.6) Разработано Georeader LLC |
The Georeader app brings the Outside Story Inside to You. Have you ever driven by a roadside historic marker and wonder "What did that sign say???". With the Georeader app, you can finally learn what it is about. The app reads aloud to you historical markers right as you drive by them. Also contains info about historical bridges, towns, and even UFO sightings all to hear at the spot where they happened. Includes all the roadside historical markers of many U.S. states plus thousands and thousands more all over the world. Plus you can make you own Talking Points™ to add to the database and share with the world your knowledge about local landmarks and events or anything else that you find interesting. Promote your area! Tell something about your town or any place in the world for yourself, friends, or everyone to hear. Designed to work hands and eyes free for safer travel. Awesome for road trips. While there are many apps designed for use at your destination; Georeader is designed for use while you are getting there. Works with your existing standard Pico TTS and other downloadable text to speech programs such as the acclaimed SVOX Classic. (We recommend "Grace" as the replacement Text to Speech voice from SVOX Classic but they are all good). Please tell your friends who love history that this is the app for them. All free! If you want to make a driving tour of your town you can! It is so easy. Now also on iTunes. Go to website at www.mygeoreader.com for more info, FAQs, and hints. Tip: Getting a good car charger is encouraged so you can drive along for long periods. (All GPS based apps use a lot of computing power to function and this is no exception. As the app evolves, it is an improvement area we will focus on. Please tell your friends who enjoy history about the app if you like it.
