[2013-06-09] A Google User: Good guide, but some bad placements This is an excellent guide, with extensive info on many sites (but not all!), and nice suggestions for what to do next. However, not all the site placements are correct. For instance, Trattoria Mario was quite far away from where it actually is, which led to us wandering for quite some time (this seems to be fixed in the latest version, but not all such errors might be!) More seriously, the museum Galleria dell'Accademia (containing Michaelangelo's David) is on the wrong side of the city entirely, even in the latest version! And if you go via the entry for "David" under "Art", it says it's in the Accademia Gallery, but the link says "Sorry, cannot find that place!" Also, the description for sightseeing describes the Galleria dell'Accademia as the biggest art museum in Florence, which I don't believe is true. |
