[2013-03-12] A Google User: Needs Auto Pause Feature I've used everytrail for a long time and it has come a long way. But PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE add an auto pause option that stops your trip time and average speed when you stop moving. I always seem to forget to restart the app if I pause it and my average gets blown away if I let it go. Other than that its an awesome app. |

[2013-03-04] A Google User: Good application with some bugs In general the application works well, but it has its share of bugs. The goods: 1. The pro version let you download area of the maps and use it abroad (where DATA is too expensive) 2. Shows tracks 3. quite accurate (as accurate as your GPS) The bad: 1. downloading is slow and may hang in the middle. 2. Retrieving the map is slow |

[2013-02-05] A Google User: Started well but not working now... Every Trail Pro has been my favorite mobile tool for hiking for a while but unfortunately, I now just get an error message when I try to use it. The thing is, there is NO real support for this app. No phone numbers, no e-mail address, no chat, nothing, except for a forum where people like myself can beg other users for help. That type of support really, really sucks. Go ahead and buy it, but don't be surprised if it craps out on you. |

[2013-02-03] A Google User: Useless after recent update After one of the last updates, the trail outline from the guide detaches from the actual map trail when you finger pan. Add that to the fact that trail text font size is too small on 720p screen, this app is now completely unusable. Don't buy this app if you're a gs3 owner. |

[2013-01-28] A Google User: Disappointing This had such good reviews, I expected more. What I didn't like was the way it rendered your map when you save it. It is just an approximation of the route. Straight lines with angles representing curves taken while riding. I did this on a mountain bike, and I could see places on the map that were 70' from the actual trail. |

[2012-12-19] A Google User: Learn how to use it. Don't flame. Accuracy depends on your sampling rate, your phones GPS performance, and your surrounding. Preloaded map with mobile data off and auto upload off helps. Most importantly keep this app on top. I have airplane mode with GPS on to avoid interruption when tracking. |

[2012-11-23] A Google User: Limited offline maps, but helpful I've used this with a Nexus 7, which has a GPS. Downloadable maps are a bit spotty and buggy, but still very helpful (e.g. GPS location shows up on map). For example, zooming sometimes makes the regular map behind the trail overlay disappear in some or all sections, which is obnoxious. I figured this app, when it says "offline maps", would do something similar to what Google maps already does: download a vector map that works at any resolution. It doesn't (even though I'd already downloaded the Google map in the Google Maps app). While this is a somewhat major flaw, the app is still helpful, provided the map doesn't completely disappear at all resolutions on you (haven't had this happen yet, but the map seems buggy enough that I wouldn't be surprised if it did). |
