[2011-03-10] Recon: Works perfect I was looking for a barebones direction-pointing app like this and was about to write my own before I found this. Works well. |
[2011-02-26] Shane: Pointer bounces all over, points everywhere. Absolutely valueless. |
[2011-01-29] Thomas: Awesome for outdoors. DroidX |
[2011-01-29] louis: Awesome use it all the time while hunting in new areas its not fancy or hard to use just mark your spot and follow the arrow back to where u set it |
[2011-01-19] George: Great tool, gotta play with it a little to figure it out, works well on my EVO. |
[2011-01-01] Aston: I'd definitely use it if it had metric units. |
[2010-11-28] jeff: awesome simple app |
[2010-09-14] Marshall: Needs landscape mode. Awesome layout otherwise. |
[2010-09-11] Kerry: Neat app! Works great. Would love a reminder if I've forgotten to turn my GPS on tho. (Not so accurate if you keep GPS toggled off--not apps fault...) |
[2010-09-08] Colin: Works great |
[2010-08-08] Jim H: Doesn't work for locations in London, thinks I'm looking for some place in America despite my phone being aware that it is thousands of miles away. |
[2010-08-08] Aici: Cool app. Doesn't keep settings, which is very annoying. Uninstalled. |
[2010-08-08] Jim: Doesn't work for locations in London, thinks I'm looking for some place in America despite my phone being aware that it is thousands of miles away. |
[2010-08-03] ykill: It gives lots of info, works! |
[2010-08-01] fredefl: Works GR8 |
[2010-08-01] frede: Works GR8 |
[2010-07-14] Greg: Cool but could use distance in nautical mile. I want to see just how accurate this is the next time I go flying. |
[2010-06-30] marcel: I marked a spot and it guided me back there. That's all I need in an outdoor gps. As with any gps it eats your battery, excellent at $0, desire 2.1 |
[2010-06-25] J: Location data does not switch between metric and imperial; best accuracy so far is 3m(9.8ft) other GPS tools accurate to .91m(3ft). Otherwise great. |
[2010-06-21] Pat: Love it |
[2010-06-19] Joost: I like it. But I can't find the saved waypoints on my SD with astro. Other than that. Good stuff. Desire 2.1 |
[2010-06-17] Live4Java: Fails on Hero with android 2.1 compass always points mostly the same way, regardless of facing or orientation. |
[2010-06-16] Dakota: Lost in the woods? This will get you back to your car even when you can't use mobile data. Result. |
[2010-05-22] John: I'm a student pilot, and this is such a great and simple app. Tell it where you want to go, and it tells you which way, plus tells you where North is. |
[2010-05-18] J: Location data does not switch between metric and imperial; best accuracy so far is 3m(9.8ft) other GPS tools accurate to .91m(3ft). Otherwise great. |
[2010-05-03] ddm: Needs to be rid of the selection when using the browser. |
[2010-04-10] Shahid: Excellent app, saves your location, and uses compass and gps to point to it. Great for finding your car! |
[2010-03-29] Eric: Would be beter with more than just kilometers & meters, i.e., statute miles, nautical miles, mph, & kts. Also way to many decimal point numbers. |
[2010-03-25] Bridge: Love the idea, but it keeps crashing whenever i try to load a location (android 1.6 on G1) |
[2010-03-14] Kathy: Saved locations but kept abending when tried to use save locations. Did not work! |
[2010-03-11] jeff: Very nice, speed only in km, could not change to mph. Can only change distance to ft/miles. But not speed. :-( |
[2010-03-05] Don: I'm in USA. It says north pole is 3K miles due east, and south pole is 9K miles due east. That's not very convincing accuracy-wise. Needs to be fixed. |
[2010-02-17] Alex: The app showed up as using 3% of my battery when not running (not even showing up in White Killer)! |
[2010-02-12] etothex: Disables my gps |
[2010-02-10] Khad: Suck battery please add delay to gps, and pls add heart beat sound more rapid when nearer.. overall good! |
[2010-02-10] Biji: Suck battery please add delay to gps, and pls add heart beat sound more rapid when nearer.. overall good! |
[2010-02-07] Morgan: Add support for the HTC hero! |
[2010-02-02] bowindah: Having a rough eta would be great so you have a ballpark idea when you will arrive at your destination |
[2010-01-16] Haruspex: Different display choices are nice, but lower display area could be much larger on Droid |
[2010-01-11] iso: fixed! |
[2010-01-10] cheewee2000: Update. Fixes on version 1.0.11 Scaling for Droid and other screen sizes coming soon. |
[2010-01-07] jmchez: Wouldn't even show on my list of apps! On the list of downloads the Open button was greyed. |
[2010-01-06] K.D.P.: Utterly useless on HTC Hero. |
[2009-11-15] James: Font too small on vzw droid. Cool app otherwise. |
[2009-11-11] MS3FGX: Simple app but did exactly what I was looking for, basic GPS range finding. Like the "heartbeat" vibration as you approach the target too. |
[2009-11-10] Jambamkin: Awesome |
[2009-10-20] Merlin: Wonderfully simple. Works like a charm. Very useful! |
[2009-10-18] scott: Would like better if not metric |
[2009-10-06] Brenton: First version I installed worked, last 2 fc on my magic - android 1.5 |
[2009-10-06] alladin: FC after update. Used to be neat little app |
[2009-10-06] matt: Works for me quite nicely on Android dev phone, 1.5 |
[2009-10-06] Wayne: App itself is quite good. Last few versions crash at startup on Hero (1.5) |
[2009-10-05] PK: 1.0.3 still force closes on G1 running Cyanogen. |
[2009-10-05] KODIACK: FORCE CLOSE |
[2009-10-04] Jake: Update forces close on 1.6 |
