Really outdated maps Desktop Central couldn't upload map to my Galaxy Vibrant so spent another few hours d/l directly to my Galaxy. Canadian maps are at least 5 years old. No house numbers on a lot of locations I tried and I ended up switching to Google Maps Navigation when I got closer to my destination. They should focus their efforts on keeping their maps up to date. Android's 15 minute return policy only benefits bad developers like these.

Don't use it that often. Usually says activation is invalid. Takes weeks to get it solved because of poor support. Save you money.

Excellent GPS software for the price I think that if 1/2 the people complaining took the time to truly figure out how to make this product work they would not be so disappointed. I had lots of problems at first too but my emails were answered very quickly and helpfully. Once I slowed down and read the instructions it was a breeze. I'd suggest installing the maps via USB link to your laptop/desktop as that was my only real problem. Working great now and don't let all the negative nellies scare you. Just had patience unlike the majority.

Excellent for urban areas and major roads. Not so good for rural areas. The trouble is that it's those rural areas where offline mapping is needed.

I was wrong! Earlier I reviewed this app with a 4/5. I must revise that decision. Today I traveled a rural highway which I knew. I set the destination to home. It attempted to route me over a bridge which had been removed in the 1960's, turn me around in 5 different farmer's fields, and even after the current update is still 10 years behind in major highway interchanges here in Canada. If you plan to use this as your primary source of navigation in Canada, don't. Strictly a novelty app in this country.

Good app, but does occasionaly crash. When you change or update your ROM it will disable unless you deactivate the license. Support is slow.

Local Maps but Badd address detection It's great having locally stored maps, despite google's best efforts at getting everything stored online, there is not always coverage in Vermont. There are also times when I am too broke to buy a data pack. The downside to this is it has horrible address detection, and has sent me the wrong way or gotten me 3/4 of the way somewhere and then I realize it is sending me the wrong way and I have no idea how to get where I am going. Central Vermont.

Did a recent trip around California. Got us everywhere we wanted. As we are from the UK having the app and maps installed on the phone was perfect.
