[2011-06-07] Mark: Poorly designed When I first installed this (on a tablet, where it's not really at all useful) I had no trouble registering both of our 2011 BMW's. That tablet doesn't even have a cellular radio, so WiFi was the only possible way for it to connect. Now that I have a Nexus S (on which such an app could be useful) it won't register any of the cars unless WiFi is disabled, in which case it will register. There is no conceivable reason for such a limitation. This silly software design decision reflects poorly on BMW. |
