OptiTrans is the first integrated multi-modal Journey Planner (or Route Programmer) for Athens and Madrid. OptiTrans covers all urban public transport for the city of Athens, including subway, bus, trolley, tram, suburban railway, taxis and of course walking(!). While for Madrid it covers buses, subways, taxis, and walking.OptiTrans provides optimal solutions for combinatorial use of public transport from a point of departure to a destination and incorporates the use of GPS for automated setting of origin/destination point. It provides a detailed description of all intermediate stops along the route on the map or in text format. Optitrans has been developed by the Integrated Systems Laboratory of the Institute of Informatics and Telecommunications in NCSR Demokritos, within the framework of pan-European partnerships.

Το OptiTrans είναι ο πρώτος ολοκληρωμένος Journey Planner (Προγραμματιστής Διαδρομών) για την Αθήνα και τη Μαδρίτη.  Περιλαμβάνει όλα τα αστικά ΜΜΜ της πόλης μας (Αθηνα), όπως μετρό, λεωφορεία, τρόλεϊ, τραμ, προαστιακό, καθώς και ταξί και φυσικά περπάτημα(!), ενώ στη Μαδρίτη περιλαμβάνει λεωφορεία, μετρό, ταξί, και περπάτημα. Ο Προγραμματιστής  Διαδρομών ΟptiTrans παρέχει βέλτιστες συνδυαστικές λύσεις για τη χρήση των ΜΜΜ από ένα σημείο αναχώρησης σε ένα σημείο προορισμού και ενσωματώνει τη χρήση GPS για αυτοματοποιημένη εισαγωγή της αφετηρίας ή προορισμού μιας διαδρομής. Παρέχει αναλυτική περιγραφή όλων των ενδιάμεσων στάσεων κατά μήκος της διαδρομής είτε στο χάρτη, είτε σε μορφή κειμένου. Αναπτύχθηκε, στα πλαίσια πανευρωπαϊκών συνεργασιών, από το Εργαστήριο Ολοκληρωμένων Συστημάτων του Ινστιτούτου Πληροφορικής & Τηλεπικοινωνιών του ΕΚΕΦΕ Δημόκριτος.

What normally is just provided in expensive cars you can now also get in your smaller cheaper car iHUDisplay shows you the speed, direction and the present GPS-Time on a attractive Display. Just place your phone near the windshield and the mirrored display floats just in front of you. Added to that, you can activate the alarm, which will alert you if you become faster than the Speed-limit you set.

iHUDisplay contains a perfectly integrated  WORLDWIDE radar speed check. The application contains locations for more than 37.000 fixed speed traps and red-light cameras. The application gives a visual warning and (optionally) a sound warning at a good distance before the speed trap. If possible, the application simply informs you of speed checks in your direction. Active radar speed checks warning devices are not allowed in every Country.
