Speed is a drop-dead simple speedometer for Android that uses the location data from the GPS to provide a near-accurate representation of how fast you're actually traveling.

Featuring lush graphics and a clear, legible display, Speed is the perfect bicycle, boat or train speedometer. Both kilometers and miles per hour are supported, and a landscape mode for widescreen operation. Simply tap the dial to switch between miles, kilometers and knots.

If you're on Android 3.x or above, double-tap the dial to flip it upside down so you can reflect it off a surface (like a windshield) as a heads-up-display.

NOTE:
As this works using the GPS, you will have to be moving at a certain minimum speed for it to register, and from testing it seems to be 5km/h. Ergo walking won't normally make the dial update unless you have super-accurate GPS coverage.

Direction now works more reliably on various devices as well as the mph/kph setting being saved upon exit.

Displays GPS Satellites that have a fix and are working on getting your speed, direction traveling, accuracy of GPS fix, and of course speed.

Motorola Droid X has GPS issues that are hardware related, please take this into account when using on this device. It may take longer to get a good signal, and may be spotty when it does.

This app should only be used if properly secured to be hands free and not in a position to cause distraction. Please drive carefully and only use this to enhance not inhibit your ability to drive.

Displays your current speed in either Miles per Hour or Kilometers per Hour. Displays your top speed achieved. Use to accurately find out how fast you are going using your device's GPS.

Be aware, this is only as accurate as your phone's hardware and GPS must be enabled. Recent changes to the Android OS may cause a longer than expected time before a signal is detected.

HOW TO USE:
1. Press "New Location to begin recording your parking space.
2. Once your GPS coordinates are found, press "I'm Parked."
   a. Optionally add a note. (i.e. Parking Structure Level/Section or even just a neaby landmark or something).
   b. Also optionally add a photo to help you locate your car more quickly (i.e. a nearby sign).
3. Click "Done" and close FindMyCar by returning to your home screen.
