Official Swan Taxis App allowing you to quickly and easily book your next taxi. Why wait on hold when you can instantly book from this app!

Initial version is packed full of features including:

- Logon with an existing Swan Taxis web account or quickly create your new account for free directly through the application.
- Utilise the in-built GPS to let your mobile determine your pickup location (highest accuracy is achieved outside).
- Place a booking by specifying the destination address, place or suburb.
- Store favourite addresses for use as either pickup or destination locations.
- Able to create multiple bookings for future pickup times.
- Quickly receive an estimate cost of the fare before placing your booking.
- Quickly locate nearby taxi ranks
- Ability to track the position of your taxi on approach and see it move via Google maps.
- Automatically receive a Notification when you taxi is nearby, including the vehicle number of the assigned taxi.

Fast taxi booking Booking taxis this way is more reliable than by calling them, but app frequently says 'Force Close' and won't always let you track your cab.

Version for HTC one x? I love this app, it show all the detail clearly. I can even track the taxi. However, this app doesn't support HTC one x. Hopefully the new version is coming soon!!!

Swan Taxi's wasted their money with this app I feel sorry for Swan Taxi's. A local company that have wasted their money on an app that is detrimental to their image. The UX design is so terrible that it makes the app more clunky than just ringing up to make a booking. It's design looks like a web site from the late 90's. The location search function is terrible, it doesn't give any indication of whether it is actually searching or not. It doesn't offer alternate suggestions. Surely an app based on Google Android could actually use the Google APIs?! The user-flow is just poorly designed. Once you've registered you've got to use the menu key on your phone to actually bring up the next list of options. It just goes on and on...

So bloated Bad design. Over 11.5MB when installed when other apps require only 5 or so. Lacks App2SD. Graphic design looks embarrassingly amateurish- may be a nice effort by a teen but come on! Uninstalled.

Gps doesn't turn off after booking GPS doesn't show me where my taxi is, not good when it is cold and you have to wait outside in the cold. I had to give one star as it wouldn't let me give any less

Tracking feature no good The tracking feature always says unable to locate driver please wait until next update in 30 seconds. But it keeps failing. Please update software to function on android 4.0

Buggy. Battery drain. Huge drain on battery. Taxi driver noted his request said I'd called 5 times for the cab after just booking once with the app.

Update Backwards This now causes huge battery drain on the Samsing G S II unless I do a reboot after using it. It took a while to identify this app as the cause. An otherwise brilliant app.

Still Rubbish Second time I ve tried installing this. Major improvement is that it now logs in. Doesnt seem to be able to link history/account settings from internet bookings though. Better to log in through explorer window. Uninstalled again.

Poorly written code App is reasonably good however it seems to leave the GPS actively running after the app has closed which then requires a phone reboot. This is reasonable when there is an active booking, but it does it when there isn't even an active booking.

Things this app needs Faster than calling which is good. Needs to remember places in the favorites section. Fix the bug that changes the booking time that you have entered for future bookings. When changing a booking, fix the bug that resets the booking time to the current time.

Useful but UI clunky This tool is useful but it could use some usability love. I've seen it munch my battery by keeping the GPS on in the background a couple of times too. Tracker is great.

Terrible...and almost criminal.. When you call, they charge you $2 for using the phone, suggest you use the app to save money and time, the app does not allow you to save your details, the GPS stays on unless you kill the app forcefully...the 'update' made no difference, many details and fucntions missing...should not be able to hold you to ransom and force you to use an app tha does not work...

Simply a lie Just downloaded the app again as they say external sd card is now supported which is critical on my htc desire with low internal storage. Well... it does not work on my phone. They sd option is still disabled

Totally rubbish Even after the last update in January, it still cannot use Gps to find your location, it even keeps gps on, until you rest your phone. You are really disappointing. 1 year passed and you are not still fix such stupid problems.

Doesn't work, resource hog in standby Installed and set up a booking up to the point where the booking is actually made - a 'processing...' dialog pops up then goes away after a second or two with nothing actually done. Quit the app, tried it on my friend's Sensation which worked, and thought nothing of it until waking this morning to find I had slept through my alarm and missed 3 calls because the app had drained 47% of my battery in standby mode. ASC software, if this is your contribution to the age of technology, then send me back to the 90s

Unusable Freezes for a good 20 seconds or so whenever I try to log in and then leaves me back at the login screen, with no error or other feedback. I thought maybe it might have logged in and just left me there by mistake, but no, it can't access my bookings or anything else. Useless. Glad to have reclaimed the 10+ MB this thing was taking up. (Google Nexus S)

Doesn't work on galaxy s2 All works fine until you have entered the destination. Then there is no continue button, no way to actually book the cab. Complete waste of time.
