[2011-12-24] Brad: Mike, these people are crazy! Your app gives more power and functionality than a garmin 696! It works fantastic, yosupport it constantly and is cheap! |
[2011-12-21] Tom: Not a great start. Terrible. Saying No GPS which is just not true. Install-Uninstall. |
[2011-12-21] Mike: A message from the developer for Tom: The No GPS warning simply lets you know that a valid position fix has not been received. It does NOT mean that your device doesn't have a GPS receiver. Please make sure your device has a clear view of the sky and the warning will go away. |
[2011-12-19] Ben: Better Best on the android market. Force close issue fixed. Now just need maps stitched |
[2011-12-15] Luis: ok for starters but dont get your hopes up Not free !!! This is a trial only. After some days will ask you to buy a lisence. But not too bad of an app |
[2011-12-09] ubrnostrum: Not functional. Program prompted to update database, which I did. Selected sectional from "get data". View map said I needed to update DB, but no updates available. |
[2011-12-05] Anuar: Need an improvement Thanks for the developer but this prpgram needs to be improved. The interface is not convinient, maps is moving hardly, no settings for base airport-everytime you run it starts from the same location-west coast..... |
[2011-11-06] Greg: Evo-4G, ASUS transformer& my experience in flight. Works great on EVO-4G in flight, in FLIGHT mode or not. Used app on 3 cross-country flights without glitch. Not all features avail on EVO, as on ASUS tablet (not critical). Database &GPS WILL stop if you use back arrow to exit app. Developer very responsive. Some waypoints present on SkyVector not on Naviator, but you can set user waypoint anywhere, dragging leg in edit mode. METAR & TAF are available (any airport) if you are online. $49/year is less than half price others for iPad, & they without trial. |
[2011-10-20] Thomas: Can't use it at all. It won't load the database. Keeps rebooting. |
[2011-10-20] Donnie: Awesome, making cross countrys easy. |
[2011-10-13] jens: This is THE BEST efb for andriod. I use it on every flight. I'm completely paperless now and save a ton of money. The developer is very responsive. |
[2011-10-06] Krishna: Does not work in flight with gps on and in flight mode. Says "no gps." Evo4g |
[2011-10-04] arnifo: A must have app I love this app. It has anything a vfr pilot needs and more and it is constantly improving. I love the new split—screen feature. Good job: ) |
[2011-09-01] Blair: Great app! Can't wait to try it in flight. Only complaint so far is that in addition to having to create an account to use it (which is fair since you have to purchase the map updates), they send your password in clear text over email when you sign up, so don't use a secure password! |
[2011-08-29] Steve: Very nice! Very convenient in the cockpit. Works well on Galaxy Tab 10.1 and HTC Incredible 2. Needs better flight planning capability to get 5 stars. |
[2011-08-29] Mike: Aviation software This is the first aviation app for android that has a chance to do it all. Very responsive support and new features keep coming . |
[2011-08-26] Al: Finally! This is the app I have been searching for! Works great, but may have one glitch... When app is closed, GPS still runs after exiting it. |
[2011-08-26] Glen: Great app Used this for the first time on a long cross country and it worked great. For the price you can't beat this app. Absolutely love it. |
[2011-08-23] Tim: Works very well. I'm quite suprised at the accuracy and detail that can sit on your knee. Flight planning is easier than turning the knob! |
[2011-08-23] sj: Not free May be a great app but says free but is really not. Stopped me right there. |
[2011-08-22] Jim: Great Tool Just finished a 3000 mile flying trip from Arizona to Idaho, Seattle, and back through SoCal. I used Naviator as backup to my primary nav computer. It's a really handy tool to use in flight and would have easily replaced my primary EFB. Subscription cost is is less than one seventh the cost of my primary EFB cost. |
[2011-08-06] lil: So Nice |
[2011-08-05] James: Incredible app. Well worth the money. |
[2011-07-31] Darrin: Works great on my LG Optimus phone Just d-loaded and running on my LG Optimus phone. It works great, flew yesterday wth multiple stops and used it (not as primary) to test it. I think it will be a great little augment to the plane... Just need larger screen now.... Also airspeed seems to be as good as it can be.... |
[2011-07-31] dpm: Good start! Route editing needs work. Next iteration should include Nav/HSI page, track-up map option. Not sure about sub model for free govt data. |
[2011-07-29] Greg: Works great in the cockpit. Tracked gs,eta, etc identically to my panel gps, reasonably visible in sunlight, battery life longer than full fuel time |
[2011-07-08] eb: Full database including private airports! Moving map. TAFS METARS. Plates. If they add radar, TFRS and winds this will be the ultimate app. |
[2011-07-03] Mark: UK version please |
[2011-06-19] John: Great app. I'll check later to see if it has a track up option. Only then will I consider purchase. Other than that, great job. Droid Incredible. |
[2011-06-18] Shabtai: Good application. Would get 5 stars if could import some generic format maps and terrain. |
[2011-06-13] John: Best at flight route planning, bare bones weather, no NEXRAD, METARS, Winds Aloft layering on the maps. Just add better weather and you have a hit! |
[2011-06-12] mike: developer is extremely responsive and has quickly implemented several of my own requests. we finally have an android EFB worth investing in. |
[2011-06-12] darienlakecentral: Fast and accurate. Just what I have been looking for. Perfect for busy airspaces. |
[2011-06-02] Keith: Works great on my xoom. Would be 5 stars if updates and program where slightly less costly. Also really news pinch to zoom. |
[2011-05-23] psb: This is a very nice moving map for aviation. I've tried, and purchased, several and this is the best. |
[2011-05-19] jim raynor: Price point is set way to high! Other than playing and ground planning its not real practical to pay $$charts still needed.Room to grow.Works Drd inc. |
[2011-05-06] Michelle: Who cares if it requires a subscription? It's well worth it for an app of this quality, considering you get 60 days to try it. |
[2011-05-05] Adam: Requires subscription |
[2011-04-25] Escape the Clouds: Powerful and Easy I'm using the beta 1.02 version of this app on a 7" tablet and on an HTC Incredible. It works very well on both. The moving map is accurate and looks great. The rubber-band flight plan editing is excellent (similar to Skyvector.com). I'm also liking the airport information features which incorporate much of what you'd find in an A/FD (freqs, fuel, etc.). Airport info sections include a convenient "Direct to" option. The latest 1.02 update included text METARs and TAFs as well as a handy Quick Plan feature. |
