z4root is a one click solution to root and un-root your device. Works for many Android devices, such as the Samsung Galaxy S, Droid 2, Xperia, and more.
Does not work for NAND locked devices, such as the HTC Desire or Evo.

Recent changes:
Force unroot option: If you previously tried to root and are now stuck with a non-working superuser app, this option will remove it for you.
Temporary root option: If your device cannot support a permanent root (NAND locked, Older RFS) then this option will allow you to temporary root your device until the next reboot.

[2010-11-28] Chris: Excellent! Works well on Hero. To remove bloatware after rooting, install Titanium Backup. Super easy to use, also use to backup system info and apps. |
