[2013-10-31] A Google User: Works Perfect I grabbed this for the Tasker plugin and it just works great and sets up quickly. Sure as other people said the icon is a bit out of place but that take like a second to correct. |
[2013-10-29] A Google User: It works well No fuss |
[2013-10-12] A Google User: Great app For users who haven't realized this yet...or haven't read directions... If you're on a network, you have to setup port forwarding or else the wakeup commands stop at your router. |
[2013-10-09] A Google User: Works great to use over external networks. Allows not to send broadcast packets. Some routers will filter out broadcast packets and as such wol won't work. This works great for use over wan. |
[2013-10-03] A Google User: Yes! Thank you so much for this. The tasker plugin is exactly what I was looking for. For those complaining about the icon... Just make a widget yourself with tasker and choose your own icon. Where can I send a donation? |
[2013-09-28] A Google User: Works very well Ignore the bad reviews from people who don't fully understand how WOL works. This app allows you you to easily wake devices on the same network as your phone. If you then map incoming TCP port 9 through your router/firewall and you have either a static external IP or dyn DNS, you can then wake those same devices via the public internet (provided that the network adaptor of the device you're waking supports it - most modern ones do). Thank you Dev. |
[2013-09-26] A Google User: Good Very good |
[2013-09-25] A Google User: Does what it should Simple program that does what it should very well. |
[2013-09-23] A Google User: Buggy crapware The settings keep getting reset upon phone reboot, even if they were saved. |
[2013-09-21] A Google User: Does what's expected of it Not fancy but does the job |
[2013-09-17] A Google User: Works like a charm for me on Ubuntu 13.04 I don't know why I didn't think to find an app that did this years ago... |
[2013-09-04] A Google User: 很棒 第一次用手机的数据连接远程唤醒路由器后的计算机 |
[2013-08-24] A Google User: ... Works like a charm. Thanks! |
[2013-08-21] A Google User: Tasker Plugin not working properly. Only working Wake on Wan that I can get to work with Tasker through calling the activity, howvever i'd like to just use the plugin to accomplish this so it does it silently. When I call the activity through tasker it needs to draw on the UI which I dont want, I want to wake my PC without any device interruption. |
[2013-08-20] A Google User: Works, interface upgrade Works great but design could be better. |
[2013-08-14] A Google User: Superb Allowed me to start my Thecus NAS in my office from my living room. This really appeals to my lazy side. Had to set send as broadcast but that was easy to figure out. |
[2013-08-11] A Google User: No Sleep On Lan option Once you turn your PC on, that's it. You cannot put it back to Sleep with this app so you have to find another solution. I'm using Sleep On Lan on Windows and sending the Command by using the Browser. This functionality should be built into the app. |
[2013-07-25] A Google User: Excellent Fonctionne parfaitement |
[2013-07-24] A Google User: Questionable Do you have to be under the wifi that the computer you are trying to turn on is on? I can't get the computer to turn on when using my phones internet (Tmobile.) But it works under wifi??? :( |
[2013-07-23] A Google User: Amazing! Great app...very configurable yet easy to use. The widget and export features show that this developer thought of everything! |
[2013-07-17] A Google User: Works great. |
[2013-06-28] A Google User: Love the EULA! App good too.. just needs 1 tweek! This has got to be the most up-front and clear EULA. The 2nd paragraph, "... you agree not to sue me". ROFL I ACTUALLY GIGGLED at that! Love it! The app does send the packets just fine. Mind you, I'm having a problem with my main machine I want to wake up. It wakes up fine if I send via internal network, but refuses to wake up when I send the packets via the internet. I run the WOL Packet sniffer to test if it's receiving, AND IT IS RECEIVING the packets. So there's something esle odd as everything is configured correctly (otherwise, it wouldn't receive the packet and MAC and it wouldn't wake up via internal either, but it is). Anyway, this app is nice and clean... THE ONLY THING I'D LIKE TO ASK THE DEVELOPER that rather than us having to separate the MAC hex pairs by a - sign, to auto insert the - sign as we type. On a reg. keyboard, it's no problem, but on the smart phones, it's a huge pain, because you keep having to flip to secondary character screen to pick up the - sign. Since MAC follow the same format, it's easy enough in the app to auto enter them after every 2 characters entered by the user. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE! :) I''l update stars to 5 if that happens. |
[2013-06-10] A Google User: Great I use this to turn ony computer every day after work |
[2013-06-01] A Google User: Works great Took a minute to configure and works great. My PC only wakes when using send as broadcast. Anyone know why that's different? |
[2013-05-27] A Google User: "It works" Which is more than I could say about other applications at Play.. |
[2013-05-17] A Google User: Wonderful app! The interface is clean and understandable. In Windows 7 I performed an extra step of "disallow[ing] the computer from putting the NIC to sleep to save energy," (via Device Manager|Specific NIC|Properties|Power Settings) on top of the other recommended steps, and that did the trick. I was waking my PC up within 10 minutes of downloading this app. The wake-up call is INSTANTANEOUS. Really, really cool. |
[2013-05-13] A Google User: Great app Work very well |
[2013-04-21] A Google User: So so Can't wake up a computer from the same LAN |
[2013-04-20] A Google User: Thanks! Simple and yet powerful ! |
[2013-04-03] A Google User: Works perfectly Awesome app. Very useful indeed. |
[2013-03-11] A Google User: Works perfectly Works exactly as it should. Enter in all needed info the app for the PC you want to WOL, enable WOL options for ethernet card on the PC, forward the port to the WOL PC on your router, and you are in business. (I ended up having to tick the broadcast option within the app) Thanks devs. This works perfectly. Should have an option to flip devs a couple bucks for their effort. I would. It's worth it. |
[2013-03-07] A Google User: A+ |
[2013-03-02] A Google User: Great WOL app with shortcut The app may not be pretty but it works exactly as you'd expect. You can't beat free, no ads and Tasker integration. |
[2013-02-15] A Google User: Simplicity Simplicity hides greatness... this little program makes life worth living. |
[2013-02-11] A Google User: Great!!!! Just work perfectly, nothing else to say! |
[2013-01-05] A Google User: wow i cant believe it wow good application every system administrator use this app |
[2012-12-19] A Google User: Absolutely love the locale feature Absolutely love the locale feature. Combine w/llama and my phone wakes up devices in the house when I come in. |
[2012-12-02] A Google User: Could use better documentation I got it to work on some network nodes. (Not all support Wakeup on lan.) But the explanation as to how to configure a device isn't clear enough. I am reasonably familiar with setting up 'wakeup-on-lan' software, heaven help a beginner. |
[2012-11-21] A Google User: Works Great! Thanks for the great app. I can now wake my home server either from home or on the road. I give 5 stars for this app. Though the icon looks a little misplaced... Suggestion to Dev: Please change the icon to something with more relevance to the application. |
[2012-11-19] A Google User: Excellent tool |
[2012-11-15] A Google User: HTC sensation xl Only app I have found to work. Wireless wake over LAN, WoWLAN is rediculously difficult and rarely works as it hasn't been supported by the industry. This is the next best thing. Remember to set up dynamic DNS tho, can still be done for free through dyndns if accessed thru dlink (dlinkddns). Good luck all, takes some perseverance! |
[2012-11-06] A Google User: HTC Sensation: It Works!! It's working on lan & wan. I forwarded ports 7 & 9, and used the mac address via ipconfig. Very happy. |
[2012-11-01] A Google User: Works well Its not pretty but it does work very well |
[2012-10-28] A Google User: very useful I use this app exclusively to switch on my notebook (it's embedded under my LCD and the power switch is unreachable) and it has never failed me. Very simplistic but there's no more to ask for. Well nicer icons would be great. |
[2012-10-24] A Google User: Love the icon! I like the icon do not change it. It's a brick Wol (wall). |
[2012-10-14] A Google User: Awesome app, ugly widget Works perfectly. I just wish I could change the widget look. |
[2012-10-13] A Google User: Amazing! This app is great! I can start my home desktop while on the road & download files (using Team Viewer). Setup was not easy, but I discovered the problem was my VOIP router. All I needed to know was on the dev's web site. |
[2012-10-12] A Google User: Works great! Nice small app too. |
[2012-10-11] A Google User: Amazing Awesome that it has ability to create a widget to WoL. Also amazing that it has ability to export WoL to Tasker. Which then you can write the task to an NFC tag. I wake my PC with my phone by scanning an NFC tag. Amazing. |
[2012-10-09] A Google User: Excellent 5 stars |
[2012-10-03] A Google User: works great! |
[2012-09-25] A Google User: Best wake on LAN application I've used! Happy with everything about this application. I use it in conjunction with a remote desktop program so I can access my PC anywhere. |
[2012-09-25] A Google User: Simple, smart, quick I fought with a dd-wrt build to do this for hours. Found this app, installed, configured and remotely woke cpu in about 3 minutes. THANK YOU! |
[2012-09-20] A Google User: Perfect Works perfectly. Best of the wol programs. |
[2012-09-20] A Google User: Ugly. Make this application look good, and I will pay for it. |
[2012-09-17] A Google User: No help Seems good but there was no instructions to setup uninstalling |
[2012-09-14] A Google User: Icon Just works =) But 4 star because of the ugly icon! |
[2012-09-09] A Google User: Great Took 5 minutes to setup and now I can remote desktop and still use my power settings. Thanks! |
[2012-09-09] A Google User: Simple and it Works Not only free and ad-free, but the ability to generate groups and desktop shortcut(s) really makes it shine. The widget icon-a white cloud with bricks-works for me. Honestly can't think of anything more this app should or could do. Recommended. |
[2012-09-08] A Google User: Nice utility This utility wakes my PC over LAN and WAN, so that keeps me happy. I agree that the icon blows and needs changing, and can we get a better widget icon also please? A white rectangle is pretty crap. 5 ★ when we do. |
[2012-08-29] A Google User: Guide required for WOW How do I set up for WOW? Thanks |
[2012-08-18] A Google User: Excellent WOL App This app does EXACTLY what you need it to. Clean execution and no bugs. The ability to add a shortcut to wake a specific computer right to a your home screen is incredibly convenient. |
[2012-08-12] A Google User: Really good! I like the app but the icon is totally inappropriate for this app. Change the app icon and it is 5 stars. |
[2012-08-04] A Google User: Simple but great Nice work |
[2012-07-28] A Google User: Works Great |
[2012-07-22] A Google User: Awesome |
[2012-07-09] A Google User: Best Simple, working fine in all time (through Internet too). Destinations can sort. Other words unnecessary. :) |
[2012-06-29] A Google User: Does what it says on the tin Just works! |
[2012-06-29] A Google User: Excellent app use the widgets they are excellent |
[2012-06-19] A Google User: Works perfectly Please update to ICS design standards. |
[2012-06-16] A Google User: Great but needs works! I rate this as 5 stars simply because it's the only android app i've found that will actually wake anything up on my network! The GUI needs serious work though, and icon is horrendous. Discovery would be a nice feature too. |
[2012-05-31] A Google User: WoL is a nightmare, but this app is great Very nice app, well designed, and does the job perfectly. Also supports what I would consider advanced features which I've already found useful. Thanks a lot. If only WoL as a technology was as well designed as this app? |
[2012-05-18] A Google User: Perfect Does exactly what it needs to do. :D |
[2012-05-12] A Google User: Korius Works very well inside my home network conected by wlan. |

[2012-04-23] A Google User: Not working Not working for me |
[2012-04-11] A Google User: If only all apps were this good! Fantastic app, works exactly as expected and extremely easy to use. |
[2012-04-07] A Google User: Nice little app Works well. Sadly my Adsl router won't allow forwarding to the broadcast address and the ARP entries expire quickly so no WAN ability for me. Not this app's fault though. |
[2012-04-07] A Google User: Works perfect right out of the box. My OriginPC was setup for wake on LAN already so this app worked perfectly right out of the box. I can wake my computer from sleep or hibernate, and even power it up from complete shutdown. The widget is great too! I wish someone would integrate this app with a remote desktop app and a shutdown app. I know if you've got remote desktop, you can click shutdown but sometimes i don't want to remote in just to shutdown. I just wish i had one app that had all three functions with astartup and shutdown widget. |
[2012-04-01] A Google User: Love it Works like a charm |
[2012-04-01] Adam: Love it Works like a charm |

[2012-03-26] A Google User: Works Like a Charm Works perfectly on both local and remote networks (LAN and WAN router setups). Allows me to wake my laptop up from anywhere using my data network. |

[2012-03-19] A Google User: Works well Easy to make work over LAN, challenge over WAN. Google helps with setup tips. Need to setup static ARP entry in router for WAN. This part is the challenge, really depends on your router capabilities. Routers clear the ARP table after couple of minutes following PC sleep, so need to set static association of network port MAC to target IP. Great app. |

[2012-03-18] A Google User: Love this app works flawlessly wish they could add remote shut down on it to have an all in one...thanks! |

[2012-03-15] A Google User: Awesome Works great. Type "what's my IP" into google to find it. It's not the IP of your PC on your network. Find the Mac of your PC. Type "windows 7 issues wake on LAN" into google. First hit about Blogspot. Don't knock if you don't know how to work this. I didn't but I looked. As for 3 stars because UI isn't pretty. Get a grip mate |

[2012-03-14] A Google User: Perfect. Works flawlessly, and I can even do it across the Internet (WAN part of the app title) thanks to DD-WRT. I can manage my computer from across town, helps a lot. |
