YOU DO NOT NEED TO RUN THIS APP FOR IT TO WORK. Places a notification in your status bar if WiFi is turned on and you are NOT connected to a network. Normally there is no indication that WiFi is on and draining your battery.

Does not work on Note 2 I used to have a my touch 4G and this worked great on it. On my Note this doesn't work at all. It doesn't even show that it is installed in the play market but it has an option to un install, I have tried to install and un install multiple times. No hope.

WORKAROUND FOR ICS/JB! The dev abandoned the app so 1 star. However, if you convert it to a system app via Titanium Backup it will still function as it should on ICS/JB.

Great app This app displays an icon on your status bar only when: 1) Your WiFi is ON, and 2) You are not connected to any network If either of the above condition is not true, it will show nothing and won't occupy the space on your status bar. The file size is minimal. Can't ask for more.
