Shows the Wifi signal strength in dBm in the status bar.
The notification is only shown if the phone is connected to a Wifi network. It is possible to change the color of the
notification in the settings. The refresh rate depends on Android.
The Application is started after the start of the mobile phone if you do not deactivate this in the settings.
Tested on:
- HTC Desire
- HTC Desire HD
I heard that this application is not working correctly on the Galaxy S2. I got an error report but still don't know why it is not working. :(
Please upload an error report if it crashs.
Update: 1 user said it is working - 1 said it is not - 1vs1 - don't know ;P

[2013-07-10] A Google User: Works as advertised on Nexus 7 Very straightforward, minimalistic app. Just what I was looking for. My 2 gripes are: the statusbar text color defaults to black (the same color as the background) so you see nothing upon 1st installation. Please default to white. The app also puts a permanent notification in the notification shade/bar. I'd like to have a setting to disable that. |

[2012-11-16] A Google User: Love it on Asus Nexus 7 Indispensable on Nexus 7, helps to find good reception at wifi hotspots. I get -20dBm at my home router, -64 in the back room. The size of digits is tiny on the tablet for some reason :) They look particularly small side by side with Battery Notifier (big text). I have WiFi Signal Bar on at least two phones, and one tablet now. Awesome! |
