Wifi Music Sync
This Tool syncs Music from a Folder on your Windows Machine into your Phones SD-Card Music Directory so you can immediately play your songs.
NOTE: You also have to use a special (free) Windows-Server-Application.
Read the instructions after the App starts. Have fun!

[2011-12-16] A Google User: Very limited functionality, but it does the job... As Omid said, it will only "sync" music in one single directory on your computer. If you like to categorise your music into different folders, it renders this app nearly useless since it can't sync folders recursively. When I saw it only syncs MP3, I thought to myself, "Oh, so the app itself plays the music and the dev has only added MP3 support so far." Wrong. For some stupid reason the developer has decided to limit syncing to files with the ".mp3" extension. The app doesn't actually play any music itself and you must play it using other apps. Thus, there's no reason why it shouldn't be able to sync ".flac" or other music formats. Another problem I encountered was that the last part of my IP address ended in the 100s. But when the app scans for IPs, it starts at .1, .2, and so on. It takes about 3-5 seconds to scan each IP. So it took over five minutes to FIND my computer, let alone sync the files! And it has to do this every time. The user should be able to choose which IP range to scan to speed up the process. Despite being extremely simple, it works. For me it's more hassle than it's worth, but you may find it useful. If it "sucks" and doesn't sync, this is your own fault. |

[2010-05-15] A Google User: Good for pre-alpha. Tracks are copied to Music folder but put into a directory (artist) called wifisync. Also, only serves one directory's root. |
