WebCheck (v. 1.7.0) Разработано J Proebster |
WebCheck
-> Periodically checks if a website contains a certain keyword.
-> As soon as the keyword is found a notification alarm is shown in the status bar.
-> SMS notification possible
-> You can configure wether you want the phone to vibrate or to play a notification sound.
-> Since the configurable "exclusion mode" is active, an alarm is given if the keyword is NOT found.
The WebCheck Service is running in the background, although the application itself is closed.
As the internal Android AlarmManager is used, the Service is also working when the phone is in stand-by mode. Further it is configurable to start the WebCheck Service automatically after booting.
WebCheck can be used to monitor a website as well as analyzing its content by any keyword. A logging function (configurable) which directly saves on the sd card provides you a history of checks.
Your feedback or contribution as well as bug reports are greatly appreciated.

[2012-04-19] santiago: Great app! This app seems promising for my needs but the webpage that I need requires me to be logged in to their site in order to see the information, otherwise I get the regular home page which is where I should log in and that page never changes. As far as I can tell, WebCheck doesn't yet have the function to log me into that site. Is this a feature that will be added in the future? The webpage that I want to monitor has labeled the log in box as "your email address" instead of "user name." Would these terms be synonomous? I like the ease of use and the alarm function, but am not sure that this is right for my needs. Would you please let me know if I've just missed something (I'm not very tech savvy) or if I'm correct about WebCheck not being able to automatically log me in? Thanks again for a great app! |

[2012-02-18] Chillstar: Seems OK, but... Wish it could cooperate with Juice Defender. Also, was still warning when disabled. Uninstalling, but will revisit one day hoping it'll fulfil its potential. (SGS2). |

[2011-03-23] Scott: Love the keyword function. Just needs the capability to monitor multiple Web sites, and not give false alarms when in airplaine mode. |
