[2012-09-01] Jorge: Awesome Great app. Just like on my old Palm Pre Plus. |
[2012-08-29] Remington: Great App But it appears the app has been abandoned by the developer. No updates in nearly a year. |
[2012-08-22] Thomas: Wave Launcher This app is smooth and useful. 5 stars. Great customer service. Nova actions don't work properly on the wave. |
[2012-08-21] G: HTC One X Issue Just changed my device to HTC One X, suddenly getting screen flicker whenever in camera mode or photo album mode. After awhile it crashed and force reboot. I can confirmed its Wave Launcher's issue because if I turn it off, my device is working fine. |
[2012-08-20] Mike: Great for Multitasking! I really missed the ease of multitasking having come from my WebOS phone to android. This app brings back the amazing WebOS wave-bar with the addition of recent apps! Now its a simple swipe to switch between running applications, and the integration is seamless. |
[2012-08-17] mark: No response to emails |
[2012-08-14] Louis: Doesn't work right with Galaxy Note ICS Unfortunately, haven't got a reply to my email asking for help. I was hoping for a refund but why bother wasting more time. Too bad, it's a nice little app. |
[2012-08-14] prakhar: nice to see such a great app for my phone. |
[2012-08-13] Inder: It's Ok I am not sure what's all the hype is about this program? It's another launcher that stays in the resident memory. I disagree that it has only 20KB memory footprint. I have Quadcore with 1 GB RAM Samsung Galaxy S3, and this program does slow it down to a point that I had to disable it. Second issue is launcher launching at the worst time during playing games or activating keyboard. It's a nice concept and I am sure some folks may find it useful but it's not for me. If the developer is reading this review, I highly recommend copying the concept of SB Settings for iPhone. It's there when you need it and totally out of the way when you don't. and absolutely no performance issues on my wife's iPhone 4. The customization feature is great with Wave Launcher but I rather have the basic functionality work out first before allocating resources on the customization. Thanks. |
[2012-08-12] John: Great! |
[2012-08-10] Uta: Makes life so much easier Thank you. Eventually I can go to other applications when I don't have my status bar displayed and then easily back to what I was doing. |
[2012-08-10] abe: Terrific help Beautiful and convenient way to get some shortcuts from anywhere. Folders cut off icons on my galaxy s3 though.. |
[2012-08-09] dalis: Stoped working It was the best app ever! BUT lately it hasn't been working! Half of the time!..what's going on guys???? |
[2012-08-02] Tony: One of the most functional apps out there |
[2012-08-02] Brian: no words to describe ... |
[2012-07-31] Rob: Great idea, but slows down the phone I love the idea behind this app, but it slows down the UI of the entire phone. So, unfortunately, it's unusable on phones running 4.x versions of android. |
[2012-07-31] Anonymous: Excelent Great app works great, best 2 dollars ive spent on market, just be cautious where you put the gesture area, it will get in the way of your keyboard especially if you use swipe. |
[2012-07-30] Sam: Great! I can't imagine my phone without it. |
[2012-07-25] 21 Quest: Essential for LG MyTouch On my Samsung Galaxy Tab, I can access the task manager by long pressing the home key. This is very useful for force stopping apps that either have no exit button or tend to freeze. The LG MyTouch Q does not have this feature. The application manager can only be accessed via its own icon in the app drawer or the homescreen. Wave Launcher makes it accessible even if the app I'm currently using freezes and cannot be closed using internal controls and the home key is unresponsive. |
[2012-07-17] Mikey: likes it.Dev must be psychic?Memory Manager would kill Wave without notification in the stat bar wich i didnt favor.Think highlite selected app next? |
[2012-07-17] paul: Great... Love it, true multitasking |
[2012-07-17] Toby: Samsung Galaxy S3 Works great on ICS as well. Very useful app. |
[2012-07-17] GranPaSmurf: Must have for WebOS fanatics! Only a few weeks ago I finally retired my beloved PalmPre 2 for a Galaxy Nexus. When I found this app it was a 'must have' for not only myself but my wife, daughter and son-in-law, PalmPre lovers all. The ability to add folders within the wave folders make it even more useful. I recommend this to every Android user but especially to those of us who were WebOS fanatics. |
[2012-07-10] Dale: Flawless app This works so well, easily and smoothly that I can't imagine my phone without it. I've tried apps with similar capabilities, but none have worked nearly as well or unobtrusively as Wave Launcher. |
[2012-07-10] Funeralwoman: HTC EVO 4G Outstanding App! |
[2012-07-02] thall: Too easy to select the wrong app I sort of like this app, but it is really easy to move your finger a fraction of an inch and select a neighboring app. It works great in landscape, but I have problems in portrait mode. I will probably uninstall it! |
[2012-06-29] Steven: Great but... Totally screws the space bar unless you set the thickness to minimum. Five stars when there's an option to disable it when the keyboard is open. Update: unusable on jelly bean due to Google NOW |
[2012-06-29] Michael: Bad on ICS Wave Launcher has been an essential part of my phone. Recently I rooted and installed a custom ICS rom. Now, Wave Launcher is almost unusably slow. I hope this will be fixed soon. |
[2012-06-25] winsucker: Not that usefull It uses 30mb of your ram. And can get in the way with normal use. It doesnt feel natural to use an you need to get used to it. Other than that it works rly nice, and i do have a great respact for a devs work. |
[2012-06-16] Steven: THANK YOU WEBOS!! For all these comments here from people praising Android and its developers, please realize that this idea originated from WebOS and is not unique to android. This was here in 2009 on my palm pre. Thank you to the developer for making it app. It definitely helps with my WebOS withdrawal. |
[2012-06-12] Brian: Nice very nice. |
[2012-06-12] dexter: Useless Folders are unusable. Also, looks like development has stopped. |
[2012-06-11] Robert: Jabo! By gosh there's nothing (even close) to compare with this superlative launcher! Dev....Good Job! Thanx..... |
[2012-06-10] sonicaholic: Sweet A fantastic and elegant way to launch any app from within any app, unfortunately it doesn't see all ADW themes. |
[2012-06-08] Keenan: Missing tablet support I've used this app on and off sine I got my phone, and now that I've got Android on my tablet, I decided to try it out again. For an app not optimized for a tablet, it works reasonably well, I just wish it would work even better |
[2012-06-03] the 6/6/2012 : update!! rubbish |
[2012-06-02] Josh: Great app multitasking for android! Great app. Worth the money. |
[2012-05-31] Dipesh: Lesser icons appearing in folder Per specs, 10 icons are allowed in a folder which I could add successfully. However, on the wave only 8 icons are appearing out of 10 in the folder. The remaining 2 on right side are still accessible if I continue to swipe to right but the icons are not visible, only labels of those 2 icons appears. I am using ICS on galaxy note. |
[2012-05-28] Malcolm: Palm is dead, long live Palm A little taste of webOS on Android. Well done. |
[2012-05-28] Joey Wallack: I love this app! This is one of the coolest things on my phone. also I think dock4droid is copying this app |
[2012-05-27] Richard: Different and versatile. I've tried a lot of different launchers and this is my favorite by far. The launcher icons can represent apps, or folders of apps which open when hovered on. With 12 folders, and 10 items per folder, that gives you 120 apps, widgets, or short cuts. You can even designate a number of these for most recently used apps, and there are many other customizations. This is a great way to clean up a cluttered home screen, and give you instant, multitasking access to any of your favorites. |
[2012-05-25] K: A valid replacement for swipe pad.... ...but not as pretty. Also, the fact that it eats more than 20MB of RAM bothers me. But easy to use and configure. |
[2012-05-19] Garrett: HP Touchpad This app really needs some fixes. Viewing widgets is fubar, most are tiny and unusable. Long-pressing to bring up the edit/move area doesn't show anything and just makes my device unresponsive. These are probably scaling issues, and I hope the dev fixes them soon, because I was looking forward to using this app frequently. |
[2012-05-18] Raj: Amazing This app is possibly the most used app I have. It works as it should and is worth every penny and more.. |
[2012-05-12] Rowan: Not enough For the price i expected more few, folders and few options. Needs more |
[2012-05-12] Rererro Muzzi: This application rocks It should have 1000000+downloads, not 10000+ |
[2012-05-11] 'Riginal: Cool, but Slows down the entire operating system. Not worth the lost time. |
[2012-05-07] Supa Dave: Best Android app This app is def a must have for any avid Android user...it's purpose and usefulness is through the roof... I have yet to notice any lag at all... HTC ONE |
[2012-05-04] James: Awesome Love the ability to view widgets anytime |
[2012-05-01] Jonathan: Nice little app Does what it says and runs just fine on my sensation! |
[2012-05-01] Don: Great app I love this app. You can access apps without exiting out of the app you're currently using, and it is also a sleek extension of your home screen. |
[2012-04-24] Paul: Android app of the year. Apps like this remind me why I chose the Android operating system. Great idea that is implemented perfectly. Only issue I have is finding the starting point and sensitivity to get the wave to appear. |
[2012-04-19] Cptnodegard: The problem with app stores... ...is that apps like this one gets hidden away. Simply awesome app! My wish list for future versions would include resizable widgets |
[2012-04-17] James: Must have! Awesome:) |
[2012-04-16] Bart: I like it Got 2 active home screens, weather widget, google search, endomondo, facebook and settings are on 1 screen. The other is empty. The rest i can access with this app. Silky smooth. Icon resolution drops when they are zoomed in, i guess there is no way around that. I they find a way around that issue i will give it 5 stars. |
[2012-04-15] Lionel: Love it Great app. You need to take your time to set it up right though so the hot spot does not interfere with your geneal use of the phone. |
[2012-04-15] Cam22: Do not buy it! It keeps going to the calibration screen randomly to the point where i have to restart my phone. On apps it opens and goes to a dif. ap |
[2012-04-14] Eazzy Erson: Nice! It's perfect for me.It's worked great in all my phones. |
[2012-04-13] Thomas: Doesn't work ICS Fails miserably on Galaxy note ICS. Also Dev claims all emails are answered yet fails to answer any email sent. Could have avoided this rating by doing so. |
[2012-04-12] Richard: Redrich71 I've used this app on my DesireHD and it's been a 5 star. However, just upgraded to the One X and it made the screen on handset pixelate (I realised this after I had done a factory rest and handset change)! |
[2012-04-11] Josh: Awesome One of the first things I reinstall after flashing a new rom. |
[2012-04-10] Chajang: Notification icon & Text is not compatible on ics. Please fix it. Notification icon & Text is not compatible on ics. Please fix it. |
[2012-04-10] Fporter: Really nice app but high RAM usage Wave launcher has worked really well across Froyo, GB and now ICS on my Captivate. It has great capabilities to improve user efficiency on Android. |
[2012-04-09] David: Abandoned? Long time since an update, problems left unfixed. |
[2012-04-08] the 4/9/2012 Nice app! One of the best app launcher on Google Play Store. However it slows down the UI, home launcher and keyboard's respose time. |
[2012-04-07] Chris: Love it |
[2012-04-06] Sunlifter: Szybki I oryginalny. 5/5 |
[2012-04-05] Gregory: So cool... But not on ICS / GNex All the creatures and functions are ideal. But I've confirmed what other reviewers have stayed: it makes everything sluggish in ICS / GNex phone. I should have listened and not bought until it's addressed. |
[2012-04-02] Raimund: Best Android launcher Minimalistic and extremely efficient with unique design. Very highly rated! |
[2012-04-01] jeff: Great app!!!! Works and looks great. I would like to have more than 12 option but that just a wish list. |
[2012-03-31] Andreas Toth: Excellent! I could not live without this app. It rocks! |
[2012-03-28] German: Awesome Being a webos fan myself I love this launcher, it brings back memories. You've done a great job at mimicking webos's launcher except for one thing, I highly dislike the fact that the launcher does not appear immediately after dragging up your finger on the screen from the bottom up, why does it appear once your finger is about half way in the screen? I find this somewhat annoying, I hope you fix this issue, I mean if the intention is to provide a webos like experience I think this is key to achieving that. |
[2012-03-28] Tink: Icon support? I've been using this app since it was in beta. ICS breaks ADW icon pack support though...? |
[2012-03-27] Thierry: Awesome! Worth the money. Highly customizable. Saves battery by replacing icons and widgets on home screen. |
[2012-03-24] norhisyam: Disappointed Force close on ics.. |
[2012-03-24] Brandon: Not worth the money But it's still smooth and customization is not as unique as everyone thinks it is not for the money I spent on it...sticking with swipepad cuz it was free and worked flawlessly |
[2012-03-20] Alvin: Awesome Highly recommend app Best ever |
[2012-03-06] Fermin Manuel: Love it. Keep up the nice work. |
[2012-03-04] Mike: HTC sensation One of , if not, the most useful tool/apps available. Haven't experienced any problems. I will keep this app even if I change phones infact phone's should come with this installed |
[2012-03-02] bigjay517: Great app Slow on GN It really slows down my whole Galaxy Nexus. Will have to remove until that is fixed. Super useful app though. |
[2012-02-25] Ricardo: Superb!!! It's simply the best idea at the Android community and one of the best applications developed so far! Intelligent, practical, flexible, intuitive, elegant and light. Am I missing something? Gratz, guys, you really made it! |

[2012-02-17] Qasim: Great app Just like webos! Wonderful app. |
[2012-02-13] Jason: Notification invert. Could we get an option to invert the notification bar text color? Need it in white, doesn't show on a black background. |
[2012-02-13] Vscribb: Absolutely the best! Look no further. I've tried them all and wave launcher is by far THE BEST! |
[2012-02-08] Rican7: Needs ICS Optimization Slows down the UI on my Galaxy Nexus. Too bad, because I really love this app. :/ |
[2012-02-05] Yuranan: ICS issue. ICS cannot disable in landscape mode, please fix! |
[2012-02-04] James: Difficult on Asus Transformer Had immediate problem coz setup switched to portrait, which is not the normal orientation for a tablet device. Worked ok in portrait mode but could not get it to trigger in landscape mode. Tried swiping on all edges! No luck. Uninstalled, sorry! |
[2012-02-02] rigor: Awesome Awesome awesome |

[2012-01-24] Uday: Life saver One of the best launchers out there. I can bring up the apps list and select an app with my eyes closed. |
[2012-01-23] john: Works Great! I'm not sure how long I'll use it but it works. |
[2012-01-21] Jimmy P: Love it but... It slows down my galaxy nexus a bit, just takes the smoothness out of scrolling. As soon as I kill the app the smoothness is back. Please fix. |
[2012-01-20] Ron: Awesome I didn't think id use this much but I use it all the time. Only two improvements I'd like to see, a more intense zoom of highlighted app and shrinking of the others so I know without doubt which I'm choosing. And the ability to change the wave colors itself instead of gray. |
[2011-08-09] Rocky: Great but app says will launch 120 apps but won't let me add more than 12? |
[2011-08-08] David: Could be snapper, but otherwise very nice |
