[2011-03-30] Johnal: Visit lifehacker for good instructions on setting this up to work even when not on wifi. Search: lifehacker, wol, dyndns. Article from 3/28/11. |
[2011-03-11] Xx3r0: good app but doesn't have ability to add a widget to homescreen...please add this in a future update, thanks |
[2011-03-04] Will: Works great. You may have to play with your router if you want to send a magic packet through, but locally it was a snap using the 255 broadcast. |
[2011-02-25] Chris: Worked sporadically and then stopped completely. Need to be able to specify subnet mask. Once that's added, it'll be an easy 5 star appear |
[2011-02-13] Morris: Looks good, works well, but wants rights I don't like to give. If not working on local lan, try 255.255.255.255 - my Intel mobo required that IP addr. |
[2011-02-11] Jason: Didn't work from galaxy s. No option to change subnet mask |
[2011-02-03] Joe: Works perfectly |
[2011-01-27] Arun: Works as advertised. I use this to remotely wake up my desktop over VPN. |
[2011-01-15] Jonathan: Works a treat for me. |
[2011-01-13] Daniel: Didnt worked for me.Uninstalled after i tried another app who woke up my PC from first packets sent. |
[2011-01-08] Quatermass: Excellent. Works well. |

[2010-10-31] Terry: Works great |
[2010-10-11] Luke: Port selection doesn't work correctly. Used alternative App which works perfect |
[2010-10-11] peter: Does what it says. Use 255.255.255.255 if on local segment and not sure of ip |
[2010-09-30] Mr. Black: Works awesome.. I also had to use 255.255.255.255 as the ip to get it to work... |
[2010-09-23] GlowingMoose: I've tried most of the others and this one's the best! 6 stars. It's simple, allows dynamic host name resolution, and works over the inter-web. ;) |
[2010-09-19] g: Didn't wake on my droidx |
[2010-09-18] SuperMatz: Works like a charm! |

[2010-08-25] Chris: Worked for a bit, then stopped, plus Wol Wake on Lan Wan has profiles, sorry, bye! |

[2010-08-24] Yo: Does't always work. Droidwake is way better |
[2010-08-08] Paul: It does not use the specified port so it won't work with port forwarding which is needed for WAN to work. |
[2010-07-31] Richard: Perfect, works everytime. Very handy App. |
[2010-07-27] Sir A: Just use ...255 (like 192.168.1.255) to emit a broadcast if particular IP is not working. Also use "-" instead of ":" to write MAC-s |
[2010-07-27] Adrian Bucur: Just use ...255 (like 192.168.1.255) to emit a broadcast if particular IP is not working. Also use "-" instead of ":" to write MAC-s |
[2010-07-19] Zenairo: amazing app it works perfectly after a long trial and error process |
[2010-07-11] Anindya: Works fine for me. |
[2010-07-07] TEEDLE: Like others have said it only works the first time for some reason. |
[2010-06-22] kevin: Works perfectly. Be nice if you could set a device as a shortcut on the home screen for easy access. Desire 2.1 |
[2010-06-20] Reggie: Like the app, but it only worked the first time I tried it on WAN. Hasn't worked since. |
[2010-06-13] Fri: App works on local network, but seems to ignore port setting which is essential for WAN. |
[2010-06-08] Matt: This is awesome! If it's not working for you then your router/computer are not setup properly. The UI of this app is also excellent! |
[2010-06-06] Jay: Works great! Very useful! |
[2010-05-23] Alvaro: Awesome. Had to use 255.255.255.255 for IP. |
[2010-05-23] Shash: Worked great. Mine didn't work when "Only allow a Majic packet to wake the computer" option is checked in your NIC properties. Thanks to the developer. |
[2010-05-19] brimur: Works great on local LAN and over internet if routing is setup correctly. However port field is not used, as it always sends to port 9 regardless. |
[2010-05-19] bloodsubs: Works great on local LAN and over internet if routing is setup correctly. However port field is not used, as it always sends to port 9 regardless. |
[2010-04-24] Vissuluth: Works great every time |
[2010-04-20] Ben: Works well, handy for turning a media server on so its not wasting power 24/7 |
[2010-04-05] krevvy: Worked once, wont work again. Wol works from other device's |
[2010-03-31] Jason: You have to set the IP to 255.255.255.255 |
[2010-03-29] Clarence: Works great! Had it working the first time with no problems. |
[2010-03-24] Ryan: Will not work over LAN or internet. And yea my computer is configured properly and WOL works fine from another computer. |

[2010-02-07] Rob: Works only somtimes. Does not work at all with custom ports. Droidwake worked everytime so it cant be my setup. Wanted this 4 profile feature. Oh well |
[2010-02-06] Matthew: Love it! I only ask that perhaps you could add a shortcut to the home screen in order to power on a specific pc from the home screen with one click? |
[2010-02-03] Łukasz: Just works |
[2010-01-26] Paul: Does exactly what it says on the tin. |
[2010-01-21] marek: Excellent job! And free :) |
[2010-01-16] Ted: simple program that works . that's the way it should be |
[2010-01-07] Kristoffer: Stop make it run in background when not in use. Ense a good app. Widget would be nice! |

[2009-12-25] Spring: Works flawlessly. Excellent tool! |
[2009-11-28] e.s.a.: This is a decent app, but it seems to have a mind of its own. Using moto droid it works over 3G when it feels like it. |
[2009-11-11] tobytobsen: Use the "Locale wake on lan plug-in" for GEO location wake on LAN! |
[2009-11-09] marutg: Excellent app.. i agree that the geolocalized wol addon would make this app even better |
[2009-10-21] Carlos: Won't work over internet to wake remote pc. But it does work on local LAN. Droidwake works much better with identical host and port settings. |
[2009-08-27] Henri: My router logs say I receive packets on port 9 even if I have configured another port number in the application. So haven't got it to work yet. |
[2009-08-19] Marek: The best!!! |
[2009-08-08] Nelfio: beautiful. |
[2009-08-07] steven: Can use ip or hostname, remembers. What more do you need? Excellent |
[2009-07-26] Tom: Nice concept, but wouldn't work with my PC. |
[2009-07-11] Garth: Works great, make sure your PC is set with WOL to use. |
[2009-07-10] GuruGabe: Woke 2 days l8r |
[2009-07-08] hansbogert: Works as advertised, saves me from getting out bed to start my htpc out of suspend.. awesome :p |

[2009-07-08] uwgandalf: Works as advertised, saves me from getting out bed to start my htpc out of suspend.. awesome :p |
[2009-07-02] Julien: Deliver what it promises. Great app. I use it to wake my computer before i use VLC Android to control it. |
[2009-07-01] Terence: love this app, I just wish you could bookmark or organize your history. |
[2009-06-05] Tom: Very convenient. Would like support for a link on my home screen to directly start a box. |
[2009-05-29] Julien Muniak: Works just as expected, would love to see a locale plugin for this app ! Geolocalised wake on lan would be perfect ;) |
[2009-05-13] CyberJam: Great app. Nice GUI. Does what it supposed to do. |
[2009-05-12] firestrife: Work perfectly, if it doesn't check your router or computer's BIOS setting for WOL. If you are trying to wake a pc on wifi, this will not work. |
[2009-03-30] ty: Works! Using dyndns.org and a DI624 router. 2 things: "IP address" is misleading, as DNS works too. Also, doesn't always remember host. Clean UI tho! |
[2009-03-29] palmerch1: Works perfectly, nice feature that all the started pc's are remembered |
[2009-03-28] Grey: Does not work. responds with "sending failed" with no hint as to why. |
[2009-03-27] grennis: Good job. |
[2009-03-27] chris: Thank you! |
[2009-03-27] Mikael: Cant get it to work, yes im n00b plix help me, I have enabled wake on lan in the bios and inserted the corect ip and mac adress=o |
[2009-03-27] Jeremy: Has potential, but UI is bugged, can't edit history entries, no MAC formatting, and, most importantly, won't wake machines other software will. |
