A Camera Assistant's tool for film-makers working in both film and DV, and still photographers.

FEATURES:
Acacia provides a graphical Depth Of Field (DOF) calculator, equipment management, shot logging and a basic slate or clapper board.  It now also contains a Director's Viewfinder (useful to the camera operator and location scout).  The DVF includes a compass and level overlay.

PERMISSIONS:
Acacia now requires permission to use your device's camera.  The camera is used for the Director's Viewfinder.  It currently does not actually take pictures, but will in a future release.

FREE & PAID VERSIONS:
This is the full-functional free version.  If you find it useful, consider buying me a beer.

Acacia is intended to be primarily of use to indie film crew - director, cinematographer, DOP, camera operator, and camera assistants (1st AC, 2nd AC).  Its interactive DOF calculator may also be of interest to still photographers.

It is free to use, asks for minimal special permissions, and will never display annoying ads.  

Acacia is continually evolving and is developed as I have time.

This is a simple WiFi mode switch.  This comes as recommended by users!

This application is included with my other toggles in my Premium Widget pack available for purchase in one convenient download!

**If you are having problems seeing the widget, please try recreating the widget or reinstalling.  Necessary code updates may require this action, sorry!

The icon as well as the switch changes with state changes on the phone - when enabling or disabling.

This is a widget. Long press on the home screen -> Add Widget -> Wifi Toggle Widget.

This application shows the elevation profile of the path.

Create the path by tapping the map. Different modes of path creating are available: direct, driving, walking and bicycling. Direct mode draws straight lines between points. Driving, walking and bicycling modes are able to find and follow roads between points. Driving mode finds routes using the roads network. Walking mode uses pedestrian paths and sidewalks (where available). Bicycle mode uses bicycle tracks and preferred streets (this is currently available only in US). In pathfinder mode (driving, walking, bicycling) it is possible to add up to seven points. Every point shows altitude in preferred unit. Distance between first and last point is shown on the top of the screen.

Get the elevation profile chart of the path or the track by pressing the button 'Profile'.

It is also possible to save and load routes.

Ideal for hikers and bikers to assess the level of difficulty of the terrain before actually going out. Application works without GPS, Internet access is required. Choose between metric and imperial distance units.

Speaker (v. 1.6.5)

Speaker is a really simple application. What does it do? It simply speaks using Android TTS. Once you configure your TTS settings (Menu -> Settings -> Text input and output), Speaker can read incoming SMS, calls and more.

Features include:
* Speaking SMS messages with the senders name (It'll say something like "Jasmin texted you saying, I'd love to meet up on the green at two pm"), however stripping out them smiley faces and links so you don't get confusing things spoken
* Announcing a caller. Wanting to ignore everyone except a special someone? Well, it'll announce who's calling and then keep telling you
* Skip silent. Want Speaker to shut up while your on silent? Speaker can do this, or whatever you prefer
* Headphones-only mode. This means that if you plug your headphones in, Speaker will notify you otherwise shuts up
* Audio ducking. This will turn down your volume by a couple of notches so you can actually hear what the speaker is telling you. (If you're running Froyo, this feature is done by your system).
* Speak Desktop Notifications. If an app supports "desktop notifications" via this app: https://market.android.com/details?id=org.damazio.notifier then they will automatically be read out by Speaker if you wish!
