Unlock With WiFi FREE (v. 2.3.1) Разработано Ben Hirashima |
-----------------------
Hate entering your password every time you turn on your phone? Unlock With WiFi unlocks your phone when you're connected to your home WiFi network. What does "unlock" mean? It means you don't have to enter your password/pattern/PIN when you turn on your phone. When you're at home, or work, you don't need to worry about losing your phone, so why should you have to enter your password?
How does it work?
When you get home and connect to your WiFi network, your device will unlock. Then when you leave, and the WiFi disconnects, the device will lock again. You have to enter your password the first time after you connect to your WiFi network. This is so that if someone steals or finds your phone, they can't just bring it to your house to unlock it. After you enter your password once while connected to your WiFi network, you won't have to enter it again until you leave/disconnect. This is great for SMS texting!
What else does it do?
The following features are disabled in the free version, but in the full version, you can set a lock delay, for when you're not at home. The default delay is set to 5 seconds (you can adjust it), so when you turn the screen off, the device won't lock until 5 seconds have passed. That way, if you remember something you forgot to do, you can turn it back on without entering your password.
There are also battery saving options to:
Turn off WiFi when you leave home
Turn on GPS when you leave home*
Turn off GPS when you get home*
Turn on Bluetooth when you leave home
Turn off Bluetooth when you get home
Turn off Auto Sync when you leave home
Turn on Auto Sync when you get home
* This feature is experimental, and not guaranteed to work on all devices.
Works on tablets too!
Free vs Full
The free version allows you to define one home WiFi network, while the full version allows you to define unlimited home networks. You could use it home, work, etc. The full version has all the options enabled, like lock delay. Users of the full version are also entitled to email support. The free version does NOT show ads.

[2011-10-13] Larry: Great App If you are around WIFI a lot this is a very handy app |
[2011-10-12] the 10/12/2011 Was one of my favorite apps... Until the latest updated forces an annoying notification icon in your status bar. If the function that allows the user to enable or disable the icon is installed in a later version, I may return. Otherwise, it's an uninstall for me. |
[2011-10-12] the 10/13/2011 You CAN disable the notification so I don't know what those others are bitching about. Besides the dev clearly explains why it should not be disabled. |
[2011-10-11] Jennifer: Exactly what I was looking for Works great now I don't have to be annoyed by unlocking my phone in my own house when I leave it magically locks until I get home again. HTC Inspire |

[2011-09-29] Bill: Unlock with wifi I don't like them calling it free app of the day. this app is already free. The features that make this app what it is are not free. Free 1/5 of app. |
[2011-09-24] Joey93: Pretty cool idea, but doesn't really work and now I can't uninstall it and it keeps starting itself up again |
[2011-09-24] Ben: @Joey93 Select Uninstall from the app's menu. Read the FAQ! |

[2011-09-07] JKH3942: Very good app! Works great! |
[2011-09-04] Kevin: Terrific, although conflicts with NoLED This is one of my most useful apps. I only have one wifi spot i regularly connect to, but I recommend anyone who needs multiple spots to get the paid version. The only problem I had was that it conflicts with NoLED (missed call/sms notification app) since the screen never fully 'locks', therefore NoLED doesn't kick in. However this app was more important to me so I uninstalled NoLED and am now looking for a replacement. |

[2011-08-17] runzombierun: Free Works great on my nexus s 4g. The paid version is a little much for what you get but free works fine |
[2011-08-15] Lee: Great app. One thing that would make it perfect though would be the ability to have the 'slide to unlock' page when connected to wifi at home. |
[2011-08-14] abat: Super useful Well done and useful app |
[2011-08-14] roost89: Very useful but as a result gives your battery a beating as it doesn't turn off automatically. HTC Desire |
[2011-08-13] Mike: Convenient I've been reluctant to set a pin code to unlock my phone because it would be inconvenient while I'm at home. This app fixes the problem. Thanks dev. |
[2011-08-13] Paul: Just what I wanted. I was hoping an app like this would be on the android market. This one is working great. I'll give it a couple of days and if i'm still liking it I will upgrade to the paid version. |
[2011-08-12] Ron: Works It does what it says it does. |
[2011-08-12] sammy: Works great but... doesn't let you add more home networks unless you upgrade. Just found another free app that does the same thing and allows multiple networks. Uninstalled this one. |

[2011-07-06] Richard: Brilliant app love it!!! I think an unlock with Bluetooth for when I'm in the car would be amazing maybe even with a dock screen? |
[2011-07-03] Supernet2: What a crappy free app. You show false proof of how the free version works using the "full version" photos. Free ver. Waste of space uninstalled |
[2011-07-02] Shirley: doesn't work :/ |
[2011-06-29] Sam Wong: Nice app good idea. But the full version is bit overpriced. Stick with the free version. |

[2011-06-15] Pets: Does not work on Galaxy S Seems to know when I'm connected to the right WiFi, tells me that the phone is unlocked, but still asks for my pin. |
[2011-06-09] Robert: Does what it says on the tin... |
[2011-06-03] kamell: Doesn't work droid charge |

[2011-05-31] Chris: Ben you're a genius. Works perfectly. NexusS. -chris |
[2011-05-30] Rastus: Good, clean, solid app but pro price is a bit steep for a one trick pony. I figured out how to do it in Tasker instead. :- |
[2011-05-27] Twisted: Doesn't work - Nexus S It seems to know when I'm home, says it is unlocked, but the lock screen is still there. |
[2011-05-26] Rory: Really great app although when on my home WiFi it unlocks when the volume rocker is pressed as well as the unlock button |
[2011-05-25] Michael: Very nice app but the price is too high $3.99 for premium. We appreciate the hard work developing the app but the price is too high. |
[2011-05-25] Peter: Does exactly what it says. Great app. |
[2011-05-23] JM ツ: Once again champion of the boring demo! |
[2011-05-23] tbar2112: Great app! |
[2011-05-21] Boxcar: Yay for Airpush Ads!!!! Ben Hirashima uses Airpush . If you like ads in your notification bar when you're not even using the app than this is for you!. Spends days, weeks or months trying to figure out which crappy dev decided to shove anonymous ads into your notification bar. It's great fun! Hurry up and hit install. You don't want to miss out on future updates where he figures out how to make even more money by annoying the crap out of you! |
[2011-05-20] mdspc1: Unlock with Bluetooth As I am either at home which has WiFi or in my car which has integrated Bluetooth can you update the app to unlock on either WiFi or Bluetooth? Then i would rate it 10 stars :) |
[2011-05-17] eYeks: Whats with people giving 1star ratings? Freeloading! I don't mind the one ad per day for app that just works in the background day after day! 5 stars! |
[2011-05-17] Josh: I love this app, but it needs to have an Unlock with Bluetooth feature too ... then I will buy. |
[2011-05-17] the 5/19/2011 Keeping one star in principle. Do not like devs who lie to save face. |
[2011-05-07] Josh: AirPush ads in notification tray. Horrible choice dev! I'll also never update. Just use regular in-app ads. Stop being greedy! |
[2011-04-15] Ryku650: Great app. Never updating so I never get advertisements. :D |
[2011-04-14] J.R.: App spams you with advert notifications. Should be banned from market. |
[2011-04-13] the 4/14/2011 Advert randomly pops out and or acts like messages. |
[2011-04-12] Tony: horrible ads model. i thought my phone hacked. or spam. |
