[2013-08-30] A Google User: No Stars! I downloaded this app for the FIRST time ever, and it won't allow me to create a password, just keeps saying "passwords don't match". No place to get help as to what the heck is going on. Lousy app. Deleted. Have to put one star to record this, but this app sucks. |
[2013-08-24] A Google User: Best password manager This app saved me from forgetting passwords. Sync is great. |
[2013-08-20] A Google User: good app easy to use but please change 1.theme change to white 2. icon so ugly. change to other |
[2013-08-18] A Google User: How to transfer I love this app but I recently got a new phone and I do not know how to transfer everything. |
[2013-08-17] A Google User: Awesome L |
[2013-08-14] A Google User: Cool Cool |
[2013-08-12] A Google User: Great! Just what you need - simple and easy. |
[2013-08-06] A Google User: Support needed If you read this, developer, please advise how to get help. The link to website support only offers a forum. I need to know how to get the data from my old phone to a new one. The last time I switched phones I had to type then all in again. The forum post that describes my problem had the only situation offered to use the PC version. ? I have used your app for years and ready like it. But can't figure out how to transfer the file, and I am fairly computer savvy. |
[2013-08-03] A Google User: Awesome Easy to use. |
[2013-08-02] A Google User: just awesome looks like many has faced backup & restore problems. I didn't get any chance to restore and didn't faced any prob yet. Also i didn't tried any other password saver app. So UPM looks good to me & I give 5 star, for now. But it is definitely an awesome app. Love it |
[2013-08-02] A Google User: Exactly what the doctor ordered Perfect. |
[2013-07-30] A Google User: Lovely app |
[2013-07-30] A Google User: Not happy I lost all my passwords had to reset my phone and I backed it up using tge sd card and never saved. Now I have no passwords. Very upset. I would give this no stars if I could. I don't know how to get then back!!! |
[2013-07-30] A Google User: No longer? Enjoyed for several years, however recently Moved from Droid X to Samsung Note2 and now it will not properly connect to DB on server via HTTP. Similar issue discussed with developer on forum in Feb 2013 without resolution. Looks like time to find a new tool? |
[2013-07-22] A Google User: Lifesaver app Just make sûre thé db is being saved to your external sd card and not phone memory in case of à phone crash. Sync is brilliant |
[2013-07-21] A Google User: Best apps I started use this app with my htc legend 3 year ago. Now im using Samsung galaxy note 2 and Samsung galaxy tab 7.0 plus I easy can save my code safely and also sync with my dropbox. Thank who ever created this brilliant app!! |
[2013-07-20] A Google User: It's a database It works. It survives a factory reset. |
[2013-07-15] A Google User: Useful Its a pretty good application considering its free and gives you an option to save on cloud dropbox. 4 star because lacks visual appeal and features like sorting based on type of data. Maybe in future we can have some browser integration too. |
[2013-07-08] A Google User: Perfect Manually tranferred backup and worked flawless. Happy to see the password stuck with the backed up db also. I really rate this a 4.99 star. The .o1% negative is definitely the pixelated/outdated icon. Please fix this minor issue. |
[2013-07-01] A Google User: Synced over all devices! After entering all accounts and passwords on one device and syncing to dropbox it just took a click to access them from all my devices. Simple! |
[2013-07-01] A Google User: Love this App Works fantastic switching between my Google tablet and Samsung S4. Problem was I was not able to locate this App in Apple Store, otherwise 5 star. |
[2013-06-29] A Google User: Even I can use it I've had it for awhile & like lot |
[2013-06-28] A Google User: Entered email account info yesterday. Today account was hacked and ALL contacts sent email with suspicious link. may be wrong but highly suspect app. |
[2013-06-27] A Google User: Good Nice |
[2013-06-26] A Google User: A must have Passwords must contain one letter, one number, be 10-12 characters, blood of a virgin.... this app is a must have and I will keep it as long as I have a phone... |
[2013-06-25] A Google User: Great app overall Only thing I really miss is the password generation that exists in the desktop version, and that would give it 5 stars. Wouldn't mind being able to "group" the entries for easier access and/or some form of filtering but not really essential imho. |
[2013-06-25] A Google User: Just what i was looking for! Great app if you hav a lot of accounts this is a great way to store them |
[2013-06-24] A Google User: Well done with one odd issue Why is the app icon in such a low resolution while the icon on the play store appears in high resolution? Sounds like a trivial issue.. Good app. |
[2013-06-16] A Google User: I need help remembering passwords and account info. This helps. Now if I can only remember the master password I'll be good to go. l love the syncing across Dropbox and devices |
[2013-06-15] A Google User: Just perfect I was looking for a simple password manager and I've found it. You can keep all your passwords in one secure place and back them up online. Thank you |
[2013-06-13] A Google User: Works great |
[2013-06-13] A Google User: Great password keeper Does everything I want it to. The only issue I have is that the icon is blurry (GS4) |
[2013-06-11] A Google User: Good App Everything works as advertised. I would give 5 stars if the notes editor could show more lines of text while editing. |
[2013-06-09] A Google User: Basic but does what it is supposed to..doesn't scroll down as far as I would like. Very useful. |
[2013-06-06] A Google User: Love it Easy to use. Very useful. Requesting a higher quality icon. |
[2013-06-05] A Google User: Brilliant A wonderful app which does everything it promises to do. |
[2013-06-04] A Google User: Used 2 love this app, but now when I try 2 log in, I keep getting "unexpected error a field length had invalid characters" so i uninstalled & same msg |
[2013-06-03] A Google User: Awesome Awesome app! Get it! |
[2013-05-23] A Google User: Very good But its not online keeper because I reset my handset and lost all password |
[2013-05-17] A Google User: The best password manager This app is simple, well-written, and has become a vital part of my daily life. It's stable, does what it's advertised, and just works. My only "complaint" is that it's free, because it's developer deserves compensation. |
[2013-05-14] A Google User: Love it |
[2013-05-11] A Google User: Good Great! |
[2013-05-05] A Google User: Why the icon is so blurry?!? Love the app but the icon really looks ugly on my homescreen |
[2013-05-01] A Google User: Simple, perfect. I had fallen in love with BlackBerry's simply efficient password keeper. Did just what was required, with no frills. This app is just that. Elegant, simple and efficient. Plus, it stores the file locally (encrypted of course). Just hope the developer changes the app so that it locks automatically whenever the control is switched to another app or phone goes to sleep. |
[2013-05-01] A Google User: Best Password Manager Used UPM across 2 phones, desktop, and laptop. Biggest missing feature is a built-in password generator. 5-stars if it had a password generator. |
[2013-04-25] A Google User: good! simple, clean, free, syncs to dropbox. |
[2013-04-22] A Google User: Joke! Joke of an app... |
[2013-04-22] A Google User: Difficult to backup and restore This is probably the only app that is almost impossible to backup and restore. Fix this issue please |
[2013-04-21] A Google User: Life saver With my work I have a ton of passwords. Can backup with drop box... but if I could edit offline I would give it 5 stars... |
[2013-04-20] A Google User: One of my faves I would die without this app!! Super easy to use - I do everything online and it seems u always have to set up an online acct so this is my lifeline to all the usernames and passwords I could never remember. Thank u to the developer! U ROCK |
[2013-04-19] A Google User: Useful app App in use for longer time. No problems. |
[2013-04-12] A Google User: Really good The app itself is really good. It's easy to use, it's encrypted, it synchronizes with dropbox, everything works like a charm. However, the icon is in low definition and looks awful and the UI in general is ugly and not Holo at all |
[2013-04-11] A Google User: Cross-platform goodness! The UI is a bit clunky, although this maybe a Java Swing limitation. However, this works well for me, synchronised through Dropbox, running on my Android phone and tablet, my Linux desktop and my Macbook Air. A true cross-platform solution! |
[2013-04-08] A Google User: Good APP but needs updates This can be a great App if there was a simple send to email function. |
[2013-03-30] A Google User: Supah!!!!! This Works Best Evah!!!!!! |
[2013-03-24] A Google User: Better choice Try Password Angel, its free, have tree-like categories, export of DB and much more. |
[2013-03-22] A Google User: Worst back-up technology With google, you sync your apps and info to your gmail. Only allows you to sync to your internal memory, and by getting a new phone, you're screwed. |
[2013-03-21] A Google User: Perfect Update. I'm somewhat of an idiot - I complained that this app didn't "copy" the password and that I had to edit the password, select it, and then copy. I was wrong. If you tap and hold for a second (on Android) on the account in question, the option comes up to copy the username or password to the clipboard. On the PC version there are buttons to do this. Overall, this app, while used with Dropbox, is awesome and I couldn't be more pleased with it. Original review (I'm an idiot): Syncs up great via dropbox with my two android devices and my PC. My only complaint is the lack of 'copy' action for the password on the android devices. For example, if I need a password to a website on my android device, I pull up UPM and look up the password. It would be nice, if while looking up the password, I could just copy it to the clipboard to paste it in the web page. As it is now, I have to 'edit' the password so I can highlight and copy. A little copy button would make this app perfect! The PC version also doesn't have the copy option but I can just highlight it and hit ctrl-c. And the android version you can't even highlight it unless you are in edit mode. |
[2013-03-19] A Google User: Great App! Would be great if we could store the DB functionality within our Google login as an AES ENCRYPTED DB, so i5l auto sync no matter what device we're using, and if our device is lost/stolen, we don't really loose the info when we perform a remote device wipe to prevent compramise. |
[2013-03-12] A Google User: Best password manager I've tried several apps and found this to be the best and simplest password manager. Anyone familiar with the password keeper on BlackBerry will find this familiar. It would be 5 stars if it had alphabet tab scrolling to cycle through the entries faster. It should also close the app once the screen locks because currently unlocking the phone with company can expose a password if that was the last screen. |
[2013-03-10] A Google User: Great ! Simple and efective ! |
[2013-02-21] A Google User: Very Useful, But... I will rate five stars if the app logo gets a makeover. Haha. It is very blurry/pixelated. Could you also add sync to google drive? |
[2013-02-15] A Google User: Outstanding app User friendly and simple to use |
[2013-02-14] A Google User: Good Best application |
[2013-02-11] A Google User: Copy and past It's cool but I neef a posibility to copy and past my password |
[2013-02-08] A Google User: Simple but solid app I just tested this app on Mac desktop and Android phone. It is a simple app but gets the job done. There are other paid apps out there with one time and subscription pay but for most users this app will get the job done. What I would like to see is a iOS version. Since I don't use my iPad a lot it is not a deal breaker for me. Also one feature that might greatly enhance user experience is automatic syncs. I used Dropbox to set up the sync. On my Mac the Dropbox app handles the auto sync. On my Android phone I have to physically go and do a manual sync. Even if I exit and re-open the app it does not sync the information to the database stored in Dropbox. Thanks for a great app! |
[2013-02-05] A Google User: Excellent password manager Very easy to use and syncs with pc through Dropbox. There is a Windows version so the passwords are available to phone and pc. |
[2013-01-23] A Google User: Great app Will get 5 stars when the icon isn't a blurry mess |
[2013-01-22] A Google User: The best free password around!!!!! It is a super basic password program where you enter and store your information. Where it sets itself apart is the light client app for PC and Mac. It allows you to to enter and maintain this information anywhere and keep it synched up via Dropbox. The PC part was a pain to figure out, but once I did it works like a dream. The trick is installing the free Dropbox client app and you are set! All that for FREE!!!!! Can't beat it. Thank you for this app!!!!! |
[2013-01-20] A Google User: It has kept my passwords safe! I've had this app since I first purchased my first Android phone. I currently have a one x and I'm using the same back up I've made. Honesty I like the idea that I don't have to type or re-enter my passwords each time I switch phones. I just restore my back up and I'm good to go ^_^ |
[2013-01-17] A Google User: Love this app The app works perfectly on every device I own. An android phone, a Samsung tablet, an Asus tablet, and two Windows machines. The only problem is the lack of documentation. Some of the comments I've seen are incorrect due to misunderstandings that result from the lack of documentation within the app. |
[2013-01-10] A Google User: Only 1 issue I have a lot of information in the note field and while it is easy to read once you have saved the record it is virtually impossible to read or edit the note field has lots of data. Please add a scrollbar to the text box for the note. |
[2013-01-08] A Google User: Md.Bablu (s) |
[2013-01-06] A Google User: Not working Does not accept password after saving all data. Tried many times just does not write anything on the pwd |
[2013-01-05] A Google User: Use to work great switch to galaxy 3 and does not load the files please fix Changed to several different phones and i always get may passwords back thanks great app |
[2013-01-05] A Google User: Won't open the upm.db file in Dropbox/Apps/UPM I was excited on reading the promise that this application oould be set up on my PC and Android devices and work with one DB file in a specified Dropbox folder.. I am now frustrated at the fact that, while it works fine on my PCs, using just the one file in dropbox,, it will not open the upm.db file from my Dropboox folder (<dropbox root>/Apps/UPM/upm.db) diplaying "invalid password" each time I try on my Android Nexus 7 or Samsung galaxy III. I granted the Dropbox authorisatioon and it finds the upm.db file with no problems. It just won't open it. I even copy-pasted the master password from a text file to make sure the virtual keyboard wasn't causing a mixup, but it still won't open the file. Two stars are for the effort, despite the fact that it is useless for me on my Android Nexus 7 and SGIII devices. Once it does work, it should be great. |
[2013-01-03] A Google User: Cant decrypt norton protected BDO BANK SITE |
[2013-01-03] A Google User: Excellent Smart & convenient. |
[2013-01-01] A Google User: Excellent password storage app Good integration with dropbox and Java desktop version of the app makes this an ideal application for password storage |
[2013-01-01] A Google User: Very good, but needs a final polish UPM provides a great service. The remote db support is a great way to have access to my passwords both from my linux PC and Android phone. It only lacks the possibility to organize passwords into categories (like in keepass), also the http credentials should be locally stored, so it could be used by multiple different users in an IT service. And handling multiple databases would be a killer feature, too. |
[2012-12-27] A Google User: Great Simple App Well done. Exactly what I needed and no problems thus far. |
[2012-12-26] A Google User: Simple and perfect Dropbox sync, multi-platform desktop application in java. The only lack of quick "copy user" and "copy password" features, but still the best for distributed use. |
[2012-12-24] A Google User: Brilliant app Simple and effective |
[2012-12-20] A Google User: 2 Thumbs Up Great app. High security, too. |
[2012-12-15] A Google User: Tried others but this one is the BEST!!!!@ |
[2012-12-14] A Google User: sri good one ...verrry helpfull dosto |
[2012-12-05] A Google User: Love it This is an awesome password manager as long as u remember ur password to it! Lok |
[2012-12-05] A Google User: The best password manager! Been using this for a few years, love the sync with drop box. This is the perfect password manager. |
[2012-12-05] A Google User: LOVE IT love it. I use it ALL the time!! It keeps me so on top of everything and I rarely ever forget to do things anymore because as soon as i think about it i add it to my taskos. the only problem is the occassional buggy day where it puts EVERYTHING under the "this week" category and I freak out for a moment before realizing. |
[2012-11-29] A Google User: Samsung Galaxy S3 Backup Problem I loved this app on my Hero HTC but I just switched to Galaxy S3 now when I backup the program does not recognize my external sd card. It only saved to the phone and I can not find a way to change this! Very disappointing. It could not retrieve the data so I had to start over. Now it won't save it in the right place. Ugh. May have to look for another pw saver. |
[2012-11-28] A Google User: UPM Very useful and easily migrates from one phone to another, really nice! |
[2012-11-25] A Google User: Learn hiw to use it people!! This is quite possibly the best password keeper app on the market! It WILL time out and auto close incase you forget to close it and you CAN maintain a local database backup on your ext SD in case you swap phones or whatever. |
[2012-11-22] A Google User: Gooood G9oooooooooooiooood |
[2012-11-19] A Google User: Awesome App This app is very awesome. I like it. Really, you need try it. Works fine with my Nexus 7. =) |
[2012-11-16] A Google User: Uninstalled Works good until you update, then it wipes out your database and unless you backed it up on their server, everything is lost. Sorry, my passwords are my passwords and I won't "back them up" on someone else's computer. |
[2012-11-13] A Google User: Great App! Only one minor suggestion I have used this for several years since switching over from a BB Curve and was missing my password keeper on that. This works great. Just need to make sure you take the time to back it up regularly on your SD card (and save the file off your phone as well) just incase your phone breaks/get lost, etc. Just wish it would back up periodicly on its own (of course been awhile since I went through the app settings and that might already be available so do just take mine or anyone else word as fact!) |
[2012-11-13] A Google User: Great app! Can't live without it BUT REMEMBER ONE THING It backs up your password database to the INTERNAL sd card on your phone. If you lose your phone or it blows up, bye-bye database. After it backs up my database I use another app to locate the doc and move it to my EXTERNAL sd card. I also save a backup to my laptop and I store a copy in Dropbox. If your passwords are important to you, you'll do the same thing. |
[2012-11-13] A Google User: Great Organized and safe |
[2012-11-09] A Google User: Are you kidding me?! I have had the app for a while and it was working fine and then something wiped it out. There doesn't appear to be any easy way to retrieve info to reset things. No "forget your ID/password" function to ease in the restoration of your data?! Isn't that given in today's technological environment? |
[2012-11-09] A Google User: Unreliable Got a new phone and thought my info was "backed up' but that wasn't the case. Now I gotta start all over again, but this time it'll be with another app. |
