This is a port of un-ecm written in C by Neill Corlett.

.ECM is a popular compression format for PSX ROMS. It is currently unsupported by psx4droid; this tool converts them to .bin, a format psx4droid understands.

Galaxy Note II This works great for me. I saw somewhat surprised due to the bad reviews. It works great though. I wish that it did that it doesn't do is give me a percentage so I can know about how finished it is. It would also be nice if it had a file browser so you could get to the files from within un-ecm itself, but it works, so I can't complain too much. A lot of the complaints are from people saying that he stole this app from Neill Corlett, and while the actual processing of the file is done by a program called unecm by Neill, as far as I know, it wasn't easily executable on the android, so this developer did everyone a great favor by giving us a way to unecm our apps without having to connect our phone to a computer.

Easy when explained I was very frustrated with this app as it kept telling me I didn't have enough space. Opened file with Linda file manager and held down file until list came up. Hit properties and changed end of file name to .ecm and worked like a charm

It work like a chump!! Just bought it ago n it work for my xperia play. Its not easy but after much tinkering, just manage to realise how it work lol. Tips:First extract ur rar game file,u will need n doesnt matter as long its ECM file. 2nd u will need to open ur ecm file. (im using root explorer n make sure ecm file on sd card for space conversion). 3rdly ur ecm file OPEN WITH under image with un-ecm droid app.(make sure ur game file is ecm for example ffix.ecm) lastly after successful conversion,rename new file ffix to ffix.bin

Works... but not sure... Works great for LOD.bin.ecm if you open it as an image through ES File Explorer. Having a hard time making a decision on weather or not to keep it. Do you have permission? I mean it is copyrighted. It says so everywhere. As I write I have decided to uninstall. This might not be Legal to have on our phones. Now how to get money back....

Use your brain. This is for the fools who didn't graduate grade school. Step one- download " Linda File Manager" it is on the Play Store. Step Two- open iso image IN LINDA FILE MANAGER DO SO BY LONG PRESSING FILE AND WHEN YOU ARE ASKED WHAT TO OPEN FILE WITH USE UN ECM FOR DROID. If your head is hot at this point go take a nap and ask mommy to change your diaper. STEP THREE- After un-ecm for droid finishes open file in whatever program you use. EASY, RUB THOSE BRAIN CELLS TOGETHER!!!

Great app Works perfectly for me. Havent had any problems so far. Just make sure its an .img.ecm file. Unecm will convert it into a regular .img file for use on your emulator. Keep in mind that not all img will be compatible with every emulator and bios
