[2011-05-31] Chris: Sanity saver... There is an annoying bug in the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 handed out at Google I/O that makes it so once you have the tablet adjust your time via NTP you cant change your timezone and the option to undo the internet time sync is missing. Four stars because this fixed it, but the UI is pretty awful in that it automatically sets the zone information to whatever is selected and forces the clock back to 24-hour. |

[2011-03-12] Michael: Works but need improvement It needs to remember which time zone you have selected, otherwise it temporarily sets your time zone for Africa when you first start the app. It randomly stops without any warning. But it fixes a bug with my calendar and Daylight savings since Sprint apparently doesn't set the time zone correctly. |

I've emailed the developer asking if they plan to make such improvements but have gotten no response so far. :-( Also, periodically this app just stops without warning or notification, and I don't discover it till I check my calendar and see incorrect appt. times. So I'm taking off one star. Still a big help. I wish Google would fix this!! |

[2011-03-04] William: Worked OK, but stopped every so often, uninstalled It worked all right on my LG Optimus V (VM disabled time zone setting in their Froyo version), but it stopped without warning, and sometimes reset to the first time zone in the dropdown list when the phone went into standby. That was somewhere in Africa, and I'm in the US 2:30pm became 9:30pm, which, needless to say, temporarily threw all my appointment times way out of hack until I reset it to my zone. Didn't keep running reliably, so I uninstalled it. |
