Let your Android phone or honeycomb tablet do all the talking! Text To Speech Toy is fun application that let's your device dicate text to you. You can manipulate the speed that the text is dictated and also the pitch of the voice that reads it.

Text To Speech Toy is designed as a fun and entertaining application. If you do not like it, please uninstall it. If you love it, please leave a review and tell your friends and family about it!

If you have any problems please do not hesitate to email me (apps@thomasriley.co.uk) and explain the problem. If you have any feature suggestions, feel free to email those too!

best all for sore voice if you have down loaded several languages you use it with all of them. It works perfect no matter the language. I find it good substitute when you have a sore throat. plus no crazy permissions are required. except with google to review it. love the fact you are not bombarded with ads and doesn't add any to phone like other apps.

Zero stars? Nothing works. The dictate button does nothing, typing in the box does nothing, so who knows if the sliders work or not. Maybe when I get my new tablet and lose this one...

Fantastic Since I lost my voice this is the best text to speech tool I found. The save function has everybody else beat. With the addition of SVOX and a US man's voice instead of the crappy android voice everybody understands me. Calling this a toy is a mistake it really helps me in day to day life.

Limited use No facility to load text from a file. If you enter long paragraphs and then try to save them it crashes. The dictation speed slider does nothing. Voices are ok but needs a pause button. Motorola xoom 2 Media Edition tablet.

Help I had this app on my phone so i could make prank calls with (awesome) and then my phone updated to gingerbread and it didn't work. Uninstalled it then tried to reinstall it now it says the device isn't compatible with the software. I love this app though

I suppose. Works as advertised on MotoXoom 3.2(Honeycomb); however, seems a bit limited. Would be nice to be able to use the device settings as opposed to the app default engine. I'll give it more stars when that is fixed and it becomes more applicable to my life.
