Tagster is a proximity messaging application that lets users connect with people and things nearby! Tagster treats every phone or device within range as a "message box" in to which the user can place messages and enables your mobile to react when your favorite devices/person are nearby. It uses Bluetooth and WiFi (and soon NFC) to find people and devices of interest.
You can think of Tagster as a "Proximity Twitter" - short messages shared with people in the same coffee shop, classroom, on the same bus or train, or at the game!
You can also use Tagster to make your phone do something special when another device of interest is nearby - vibrate, alert you or just make a sound!
