SwiFTP FTP Server (v. 1.24)

SwiFTP is an open-source FTP server that allows you to connect to your phone over wifi or cellular/3g to upload and download files. Any FTP client can be used.

Version 1.24 adds some small features and fixes some minor bugs.

froyo galaxy S fix if it doesn't work for you...set the path as /mnt/sdcard in the setup instead of just / or /sdcard. Works fine after that..

Perfect tool! Extra powerfull in combination with an ad-hoc wifi connection to send and receive files anywhere and also much faster than with bluetooth. Speed is 1 megabyte per second with my Moto Defy. Integration of an ad-hoc wifi function in this app would be a nice feature for the next version!

I am novice and even managed to set ftp up on my pc. With an apps backup app, copy backed up apps to pc with this via Wifi. Excellent and easy to use.

This works well. Simple setup and a nice proxy option. Enable proxy at your own risk. Mind your own security.
