Find sunrise, sunset times, twilight times, day duration, sun's azimuth and max elevation angle.
The information is plotted in 2D on a Map. Values are available for the current day, a specific user defined day or the solstices.
It can be used to
- plan photo shoots and photography
- plan trips and holidays
- plant flowers and plants on the sunny side of gardens
- choose a real estate
- calibrate orientation and inclination of solar panels
- estimate exposure to sunlight

[2013-08-01] A Google User: Legend needs an update I figured legend would give some explanation as to what the different colored lines meant, not random terms (I'm pretty sure we all know what daytime on earth is). I assume the dotted orange lines mean dawn and dusk, when the sky is still lit but the sun is below the horizon? Please, better definitions on how to read the diagram and I will up to 5 stars. Thanks |
