Speed Enabled Bluetooth Trial (v. 2.53) Разработано Mobile Development NZ |
This application will revolutionize your use of your Bluetooth headset and hands-free kits.
It provides a seamless experience for Bluetooth use in the car, better than Bluetooth toggle widgets because it acts as a set and forget solution.
Within a few minutes of starting your journey your Bluetooth radio will automatically enable itself and connect to any Bluetooth devices that are paired to your device.
A great solution to saving power on your phone, as it will automatically disconnect at the conclusion of your journey.
Trial version of our Speed Enabled Bluetooth Application (https://market.android.com/details?id=nz.co.mobiledevelopment.bluetooth.SpeedEnabledBluetooth).
Controls your Bluetooth Radio Power based off your estimated speed. Utilizes coarse location detection to reduce power consumption. Great for people who step into the car and want their Bluetooth to be enabled to connect to their hands-free, but then disabled when they stop moving. Speed Enabled Bluetooth will not disable Bluetooth when devices are connected or you are making a phone call.
Coarse location detection does mean that we don't have a power overhead, but it does mean that it can take a few minutes to detect that you have changed your location.
It is also recommended that you have WiFi enabled to help with the location detection.
If you have your GPS enabled then it will use the detected speed from any locations retrieved by other applications.
Trial application is limited to running for a two week period and is advert supported.
One month after your trial evaluation you may re-evaluate the product.
Please email info@mobiledevelopment.co.nz for support of this product.
If you are having trouble with Bluetooth turning on and off when you do not expect it, use the Send Log to Developer option that is available in the About section of the preferences.
Check out our other applications:
FaceDown Profile Controller - Put your phone face down during a meeting to prevent it from ringing, or quickly flip it over while it is ringing to silence it - with no additional battery consumption.
Call Scheduler - schedule and manage calls for a later date. Great for sales people, busy people and simply making sure you call people when you say you will.

[2012-10-25] A Google User: Needs customizable trigger; uses a lot of battery The app definitely works in the car but my battery, which usually has about 70% left at the end of the day, has 40% when using this app, even with only two trips in the car, each less than 3 miles. My guess is that it's checking change in location and turning bluetooth on to check for a paired device too often. I've notice, for example, that it will turn on bluetooth based on the =walk= from my office to the parking garage. Perhaps being able to customize the triggering estimated speed (change in location over time) would help. I'm giving it a middle review because it's the only one of these type of apps that seems to work but eats battery. If this problem were corrected, I'm a likely buyer for the pay version. |

[2012-09-27] A Google User: Not bad, not perfect Works most of the time, but occasionally turns on bluetooth when I haven't moved, and occasionally doesn't realize I'm in my car for a long time. If the full one was free I'd probably use it and just see if over time I could tweak the settings to be more accurate perhaps, but I'm not going to pay $5 to experiment. |

[2012-09-15] A Google User: Works well Great app that does the job. |

[2012-07-24] A Google User: Didn't work with HTC desire Hd with ford in car Car connection failed. |
|
[2012-05-09] A Google User: Not quite there Switches bt on with slightest movement. Cant turn voice notification off, which in turn keeps waking me up. Definitely won't be buying this overpriced app. |
|
[2012-04-18] A Google User: Does when it says. $5 for this app is pretty high when others are free. Auto-Mate does the same'er for free. |
|
[2012-03-17] A Google User: Outstanding application. Does what it says and does it well. |

[2012-01-10] A Google User: Outstanding This app is one of the best. Outstanding work. Tried heaps of the other power control apps, but nothing beats this. |
|
[2011-11-15] A Google User: LOL nice "trial" Expired before I tried it once. |

[2011-09-28] A Google User: DAMMIT Was hoping the "never got to use it" bug was fixed but guess not, 2nd time DLin and it says trial over, never used it once, too bad, just what I need. |
|
[2011-09-07] A Google User: Surprised Me I was doubtful this would work at first, but pleased to say after a couple of days it works well. Despite the odd false activation of bluetooth in general it is off when I don't need it and on when I do. A true set and forget solution. Had tried some of the other power profile tools including tasker but found this to be the simplest solution for my bluetooth management. Would be cool if it could start playing music when something connected though. |

[2011-09-05] A Google User: App works well. Got the full version now. Had no trouble uninstalling. A+ app. Recommend to all. |
|
[2011-08-20] A Google User: Don't Dowload Do yourself a favor and don't download the trial version. I have been unable to get it uninstalled from my phone. I purchased the "real" version but it won't work probably because the trial version and it's notifications are interferring with the program. A rip off. Spend your money somewhere else |
|
[2011-07-19] A Google User: Needs an ignore WiFi option Works well on my Wildfire, but could use an option for ignoring WiFi. Having it switch bluetooth on everytime WiFi goes up seems a bit pointless. I don't tend to switch that on when I'm in the car... :P |
|
[2011-07-13] A Google User: Does not work on cdma (verizon) phones. |
